Glad you enjoyed it Tango, you might not get to many games these days but no-one can doubt your love of the club. Enjoy your eveningTANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 9:24 pmLove it. Crazy, wonderful celebrations by the lads. A 4-1 win that could have been even more, but we got the performance we wanted and they did the job in style. Supporting the Whites has a had a few downers, but this season has been a revelation in fighting back when the chips were really down from the board to the ball boys... So proud to be a White... .

I totally agree. We were crying out for defensive solidity in midfield and a decent left back. Rather than just improving those positions we got MJ and Declan John, who are two of the best in the league.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 9:26 pmI think his signing in Jan is one of the biggest turning points. The guys a fuxking magnet, ball just finds it’s way to him when we are defending. Plus he’s a hard man as well I think. Quiet unassuming hard man a bit like Chrissy Fairclough. From his first or second game he’s made that defensive mid role his and he never stops running as well.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 9:14 pmIt was definitely MJ, remember thinking at the time that it was a perfect pass. What a signing hes been that lad. Unsung hero. Or at least undersung.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 9:06 pmI think the ball for the third was MJ...but ima few in now.
Just got lost in Twitter vids, obviously there were fans there. The players come out to celebrate with them, and Sharon (what a wonderful woman) hugging, kissing...Baps even shares his pizza with the fans!
feck me we’ve had some shit in the 10’s but this is the decade lads, the new 90’s. We’re Bolton Wanderers we are on our way back.
John may be the better player but i think MJ has been the single most influential signing for us.

Interesting innit - of the deadline day signings I would guess Maddison was the most hyped and MJ the least, in inverse correlation to their effectiveness.

Long time no post...
Great win today.
First step back.
Congrats to the team, the manager, the management and, most of all, you never say die (except in every thread) fans!
Finally some good news we all deserve!
We almost could have been Bury, but we've clawed our way out of the mire...

I've got the same one for the Bayern game.
Past in now, and it is the paradigm of academic points but I'm surprised you all weren't as livid as I was that the Doyle first goal was ruled out. That hasn't been offside since the 80s. Clumped forward, nowhere near him, didn't move for it and the defender played it to him. 3-0 up in half an hour and Cheltenham might have got worried

Can't get over how happy this has made me. I enjoyed the promotion back to the Championship however this feels special. The entire league looked at us as imposters and laughed when we were in 20th. To turn it round and go up is nothing short of miraculous.
