Max Power is rubbish.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 2:54 pmHefele has played what, 20 games in 3 years and none for at least 18 months? Add in his injuries and I'd be wary of what kind of player he is now. Undoubtedly talented enough, though. I'll just pretend I'm not staring at the name "Sammy Ameobi"
We are being linked with Andy Cannon again. Another busy, okay at everything midfielder who is a decent league one player but probably wouldn't improve us enough. Worth signing just for the name, obviously. As is Max Power.

You're not playing properly.
Set the Cannon to Max Power etc.

Or the real life Kaiserslauten front two in the 90s of Uwe Fuchs and Stefan Kuntz.

I'm surprised at Forest letting Ameobi go. He'll get another championship gig for sure but it's a nice dream to think he might come back if there's not many offers on his table, come August.

Yeah way above our level financially and I suspect will be in demand but definitely one I'd be delighted with if for some reason he can't get fixed up. Really liked him as a player here, always a fun watch. Worked hard. I think he'd do well in an Evatt team personally.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 3:55 pmI'm surprised at Forest letting Ameobi go. Harry has signed on. Good news.
Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Thread.
Seems to be a common view on Twitter that Ameobi was lazy which frankly is absolute nonsense.

Morons.
I had a toot on a Forest site and the majority seemed to want him to stay. Their main beef was that he often flitted out of games but in contrast thought he was unplayable on his day. That was pretty much my impression of his time with us.
It seems the Forest board are taking a punt on replacing him with someone significantly better. They'll be lucky

Agreed. Great lad to have around.

And you'll ask who the fook is that before they register on your radar after 20 odd gamesBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 12:36 pmWith respect, this line gets trotted out on an annual basis by the incumbent manager.brommers95 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 10:50 amInteresting comment from IE in The Bolton News this morning about wanting some signings in before the start of pre season
My money's on us signing more players once the season's got going than before pre season.

If social media rumours are to be believed, one of Brommers' top transfer targets, Josh Sheehan, could be on his way.

Certainly looks like an Evatt player, and based on Brommers' analysis he would be an excellent addition to our squad.

Thought he played well in the semis. Less obvious in the final.

Takes the strain off Keiron Lee a bit as well which has to be welcome...albeit centre mid was the last place I had down as needing strengthening! You get what you can when they are available though and he gets in for a full pre season so will be challenging to start from the off. Kick in the balls for Andy Tutte mind!

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Thread.
It’s the most critical area of the pitch for me so I’m pleased we are adding there. Only issue I have with this is he’s not a goalscorer and it would have been ideal to add goals in there but definitely right sort of player.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 10:27 amTakes the strain off Keiron Lee a bit as well which has to be welcome...albeit centre mid was the last place I had down as needing strengthening! Just had a flick on the Newport county forum to see what they think…made me laugh….
ReplyIf true it shows a distinct lack of ambition in my view. Potentially moving to a Club that less than two years ago couldn’t even afford to pay for their pasties!
I suppose he won't be moving two years ago.
