Loaning a few players out would be a good sign.

Darcy, Thomason and Politic all have good quality and can't all get as much game time as we would like to give them so it makes sense. Hopefully we'll get a deal where they're training with us but eligible for the other teams. I can imagine training the Evatt way would help us more than if they had a change in tempo at a different club.

Thomason's a tricky one. He's been on the bench (but unused) for all three games, so he's obviously not far away; he's one injury/suspension away from being first reserve. Darcy and Politic would require more of a crisis to be "needed".

Assuming clubs can loan after the window (?), Evatt might be tempted to wait until this burst of seven games in 22 days is done – September's a lot quieter.
