Decent game. Doyler looking fit, Dapo threatening. Midfield being bypassed by both teams. We struggled early with the aerial bombardment. Coped better as the game went on. Long throws are their weapons. Need to ensure that we don't play their game in the 2nd half and get Sarc and Sheehan on the ball. '

Hope we keep attacking and don't sit back on the lead and defend; nothing like a healthy 2 or 3 lead. Come on you Whites...
And thus it came to pass...3-1----

Hopefully we carry on just to keep the game entertaining. I'd fancy us to get another goal and then see the game out in a professional manner.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 3:58 pmHope we keep attacking and don't sit back on the lead and defend; nothing like a healthy 2 or 3 lead. Always easier playing with a lead than chasing one, or being level.
They will come at us again but as a side with good ball retention, we should be able to run Dons out of legs and pass round them. Doesn't have to go long, can just move the ball quickly. And we have subs to come.

There's the 3rd. Great stuff. Dapo even doing the same Okocha leg celebration that we know and love.

Can't keep scoring 3 and not getting 3 points. An absolute shit show at the back.
Re: Plough on: AFC Wimbledon (A), Sat 14 Aug @ 3pm
Urgh, what a poor set of goals to concede. Test of character right now.
Re: Plough on: AFC Wimbledon (A), Sat 14 Aug @ 3pm
Starting with back to back 3-3s would be a first I'm sure. Time to spoil it and nick one.

Gethin Jones needs to buck up his ideas.
Piss poor this half.

Safe to say Josh Sheehan has faded this half.
