Gilks, Brocky, Baptiste, Johnston, Gordon, Lee, Sheehan, Thomason, Kachunga, Delf, Dapo

Dixon, Jones, John, Santos, Doyle, Sarcevic, Tutte

Evatt's made more changes than I expected there.

I doubt if most of these "sectarian abusers" know the first thing about sectarian issues in Ireland, or even what it means. Any band-waggon will do for idiots to jump on.

Yep I can see an argument for all those starting who are (except maybe delf) but that’s more than I was expecting. Don’t expect us to start well!

Is Williams injured? He hasn't even made the bench.

He was reported to be there. Perhaps just getting a well earned rest?

Gonna be a difficult game, they've put out a strong side.

They've made seven changes to our eight, although I guess one is McClean's first start.

GK: Gilks for Dixon
DF: Brocky for Jones, Bap for Santos and Gordon for John, with Johnston staying in;
MF: Lee for Williams, Thomason for Sarce, with Sheehan staying in;
AT: Delf for Doyle, Kachunga for Isgrove, with Dapo staying in.

Put another way: eight changes with six rested to arguably our strongest bench in years, plus two (Williams and Isgrove) given the night off.

Also season debuts for Brocky and Tomo, plus full debut for Kachunga.

Could be Kachunga or Delf up top. Delf likes to operate off the left and that's definitely Dapo's job, but there could be some interchanging.

Urgh, no availability to watch the match via iFollow. That would've been a nice thing to watch tonight. Seems daft that its unavailable given that our allocation has sold out twice over. :whack:

Anyone else manage to watch via iFollow?

Does the season pass on iFollow account for away games or is it just the home matches?

Just commentary.

Like you say seems daft as no TV channel has coverage.

I quite like that. It smacks of the old Allardyce cup tie set-up vis you lads can have a run out but we have bigger guns on the bench should they be required.

Sounds like a home game.

These commentators are the two from a couple of games ago, aren't they?

Genuinely don't think I'll know what is going on as I struggle to follow them when I have the video in front of me too.

Didn't work when we played Bury under Allardyce. Hopefully have better fortunes tonight. Only fair that the fringe players get a go.

The commentators on the Wigan stream are definitely the ones that commented on our previous game. That seems the better bunch of commentators in terms of keeping up with whats going on.

Blackburn the big rivalry for me. Was surprised that it isn't/wasn't the same for everyone but presume it depends on which side of town you grew up in too (if a laocull). I know it's not cool on many sectarian-type levels but, well.. f*ck 'em.
The Wigan thing is more off-pitch for me - when we were on our arses, at our lowest, it was their 'supporters' were by far the most appallingly toxic (& grudgingly admit many Rovers fans weren't).

0-0 Half Time.

We haven't had a shot on target for all the huff and puff.

Sounding like lower league stuff with some sloppy defending by us. Sure hope it doesn't get to penalties. Calm it down I'E and get em playing football. .Mix it up a bit and do the unexpected...
