Lots of possession but too pedestrian. John, Jones, Dixon and Santos all looking shaky. Isgrove and Doyle just not getting into the game. Ref is the usual shite.
Big 2nd half needed!

Feels like this is always the risk of making several midweek changes then reinstating a clear first XI. Need some peg-height reduction at half time.

Also not good to hear Sarce booked for dissent and Santos so livid he needed Baptiste to have a word. I know last year we complained that they never complained, but losing your rag means losing focus.

Yeah I mean I get why he rested people but I did have a sneaky feeling it was a bit of a momentum killer. Which I think that’s why I had a sneaky feeling we would lose today. We have to be honest that last weekend we won but could have been any result really given how the game went. Still I’d say we are hopefully a mid table side in this division and think probably thinking we are much better than that might be getting ahead of ourselves at this stage.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 3:56 pmFeels like this is always the risk of making several midweek changes then reinstating a clear first XI. Santos is really testing the patience today. Almost like he's half asleep.

Kachunga on (expected) for Jones (unexpected).
Isgrove to full-back or a change of shape?

Doyle, that is unacceptable.
Horrendous miss.

Izzy to overlapping full-back. Why not…nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 4:28 pmKachunga on (expected) for Jones (unexpected).

Baptiste on, Johnstone off. Make of that what you will. Strange.

Johnston might just be tiring - played a lot of minutes lately - or Evatt is keeping an eye on Santos.

Feels like one of them where we won’t score to me.

We've been miles better second half and should've got an equaliser for our efforts. Doesn't seem like its going to be our day. Professional jobto keep going though from the looks of it.
Good to see Delfouneso coming on. Certainly didn't want to see Delf having that miss playing on his mind. Better to get it out of his system.

73% possession, one effort on target.
