Surely Ellis Litherland is the name of the spiteful kid at school?!
May the bridges I burn light your way

Interesting that Gilks is on the bench. I'd have thought he needed a game or two.

Presumably with Aimson and Senior playing, Brocky isn’t even a reserves centre-back, bless ‘I’m
Then again, as I don’t know where all those kids play, he might be LB if Comley’s RB - Tutte and Thomason are in midfield

We had Bryant and May on the bench.

Thomasons an interesting player and certainly in contention. Hopefully we'll see highlights of those passes to put them in some sort of context.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 5:13 pmObviously it’s early days and a marathon not a sprint and we’ll take each game as it comes but E I ADDIO WE’RE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE

Wanderers reserves have just kicked off against Accrington Stanley reserves and Thomason has scored for the Whites after 9 mins..

Thomason is in the awkward position of being too good for reserves, but not good enough for the first team. A loan to a League Two side would probably be good for him, but am I right in thinking that we can no longer do that now that the window has shut?

Re: BWFC Reserves 2021/2022 - Central League
Correct, he could only be loaned to National League clubs or below, seeing as he shone at L2 level though that would obviously be a bit of a backward step.
I'm sure he'll eventually get a chance due to a heavy fixture list and a bit of rotation needed but I do feel for him - he's clearly too good for reserve football by the sounds of things!
Hopefully we'll progress in the Pizza Trophy which will provide more opportunities to the likes of Thomason, Brockbank etc to get some competitive action.

He's only young isn't he? The amount of games he's played in time he's had with us, is probably more than he would've expected and again, there'll be opportunities nearby - It's not like he's out of favour..
From what Evatt says about the intensity and the quality that we train at, there's an argument to be had, that these young lads may be better off sticking with us and learning, rather than cutting their craft on Port Vale's bench, or in a hotel room in Norway
