A Swich of the Ips and he's gone. V Ipswich away Sat 11-09-21, 3-0' clock

Kachunga and Lee have come on for Izzy and Sheehan.

... and now Baptiste for Johnston.

Feel like this is gonna finish 2-5.

Bolton's attacks are being snatched at in the closing half an hour and it seems like we're just playing the clock out now.

What a game so far. Right decisions I feel bringing Lee and Baptiste on. I think their manager is going to be in for a roasting after this.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

See I said nothing to dread. Our team balance isn’t quite there yet. But by god we go forward when teams play and we are deadly.

It’s such an exciting team to watch.

Home boys getting the boos. It was our turn today for a change. We beat a decent side and did our goals no harm at all. Well done the Super Whites...

Yep. As are a number of our lads. But that’s what happens when you do well.

I thought this was one of our toughest tasks yet, and although we could now pile on the circumstances (Cook's early struggles, new players etc etc), let's not. Not for nothing they were tipped pre-season as one of the favourites, and while they might come strong later on - we know all about that team-knitting experience - this is quite some statement thrown down to the rest of the league.

We have our foibles, in various departments and to various degrees  , but this is a wonderful team to watch. Even if we'd had an average last five years, it'd be a pleasure. As it is, after the shitestorm we've trudged through, it feels like a very special time. Enjoy it, my friends. You've earned it.

This is what non football fans don't understand about sticking with a team that's struggling.
Like the meteoric rise under Rioch after the 80s.
