Used to remember us having a relatively decent record against Charlton back in the Premiership days, however now it is no wins in 9 with a lot of closely fought contests. I think today may be the day we correct that record and get a win, no particular reason other than we seem overdue a win.

Interesting the commentary have flagged the Sam Lavelle transfer. That was a set of sad times and given the way things panned out it would've been much nicer to see Lavelle getting a game as opposed to some of the players that didn't really make the cut. Would've seemed a much nicer opportunity for the club to raise funds (ala the Holding deal) as opposed to the Casado / Pisano / Gouano deals.

Indeed. January we need a proper physical no questions asked centre back. And another midfield player who can help hold when we need. Arguably another right back too. Basically the ‘let’s sign footballing centre halves’ is a nice theory but we need to be better at defending at this level and for me Santos Johnston and Baptiste have all looked incredibly dubious at actually defending at points this season.

Don't mind Baptiste coming in over Johnston, we've got to rotate sometime to freshen players up and make sure they don't get too injured. I'd expect Baptiste to be a little rusty but given that the type of goal we've conceded is likely to be high on the 'to-do list' in terms of fixing problems, then its especially frustrating we've let another one in.
