Indeed. January we need a proper physical no questions asked centre back. And another midfield player who can help hold when we need. Arguably another right back too. Basically the ‘let’s sign footballing centre halves’ is a nice theory but we need to be better at defending at this level and for me Santos Johnston and Baptiste have all looked incredibly dubious at actually defending at points this season.

A no-nonsense centre back would benefit from having a target man to aim for. At the moment we punt it forward to Doyle and it's easily dealt with.



That latest shot by Charlton on 23 mins definitely has Dapo switching off. Feel like its gonna be a long night at this rate....

Sorry but it's right. We have an example of a good right back / wing back in Jones, 10x the player John is. John never blocks the cross never makes the tackle, he's slow and his positioning is awful and he can't pass either. Decent crosser but basically a shit winger who cannot defend to save his life. He told everybody he was championship standard when he arrived and everyone bought it.

It's almost as if we're one dimensional and it plays right into the oppositions tactics. Definitely a work in progress and entertaining at times but at the minute, when we're a goal behind we look very predictable and not threatening.

As for Dapo... its disgusting he's being kicked every game. Dapo's shot had a flag up on for offside? Not sure about that one...
