Bit surprised to see Dixon in the orange kit today. Seems quite close to the yellow kit.

I said exactly the same at Sunderland. Seems a bit daft.
Suppose the alternative was a blue kit which clashes with the Wednesday kit somewhat. As for the Sunderland game theres no excuse there.

Jesus wept, I know Doyle's not been in the best of form but I think most of us would be putting money on him getting that one in the back of the net.
Kachunga played the ball behind him. Needed to either shoot himself or play a better pass.
Perhaps, but oddly enough I didn't give much consideration on the pass. The pass wasn't great but i've certainly seem him manage to do the business with delivery like that. Hopefully Doyle will deliver.

I would quite like us to make the most of this early pressure.

Poor decision to shoot from a free kick that far out. Even if you’ve got a James Ward Prowse, which we don’t, there’s a tiny chance of scoring.

28 minutes gone, 58% possession, 6 attempts on goal, 0 on target (Wednesday have 0 from 3)

Plymouth and Wycombe both winning and therefore both in the top two

The match has the makings of becoming a feisty affair. Since the MJ Williams stamp (which looked accidental) it seems like a few rough challenges have been put in.

On the plus side, this lot aren't targetting Dapo, which makes a change.

Not impressed with Jack Hunt going down just then. Went down like he'd been shot.

As I type, a sliding challenge on Dapo looks to just take his legs out :(

The final ball in the box, barring the one Doyle controlled before shooting, has been poor.

Doyle really needs to hit it first time.

Feel like this might be a match that suits Sheehan more than it does Lee. Sheehan on these free kicks would be good to see.

Dapo not on top form as of yet.

On the flip side, Bannan seems to dictating Sheffield Wednesday's game.

Close free kick from John, good effort by all accounts. Gotta start hitting the target.

HT 0-0. Feels slightly like a wasted opp, but hopefully we're just wearing 'em down.

Are we likely to see Igrove this half? It's just a question..?

Playing well. We look confident. Doyle seemed to have tripped over himself trying to set himself with that early chance rather than the ball being played behind him from Kachunga. He saw it all the way. Nonetheless feeling confident that we can get a result here.

I would suspect so. Kachunga has been fine, but I still can’t understand why he’s being selected in front of Izzy.

We’ve been the better team, and it feels as though with a few tweaks up front we should be able to score some goals.

Comes as absolutely no surprise to learn that, Mar. Cracking little player and one I really hoped we could've kept hold of at the time.

I wasn't so sure. I thought he was missing quite a bit of something when he played for us, and I suspect it was more the quality around him.

FFS Doyle. Break your leg if you need to.

Piss poor shot that.

edit:

Bit extreme. Don't go breaking your legs for a goal.

Haha. Sounds like one of those things you scream pitch side only to realise after the fact.

Unlucky not to get a goal there. Doyle can't seem to catch a break at the moment, even John's shot got blocked then bounced off him.

Would like to see Bakayoko on for Kachunga, see if that helps Doyle out.

It did seem a touch harsh :D

Owls make a double change at half-time, apparently switching from a back five to 4-2-3-1. Let's see how that pans out. Half-time double changes are always risks for managers under pressure - an admission of error allied to a boldness of assertion.

Doyle man.

Needs changing as his confidence is disappearing with every attack.

Why pass to Sarc then?
