When Saturday comes, it's Wednesday. V.The Owls Sat,09/10/21.

Is this the first sighting of the Sheehan-Lee-MJ midfield combo?

I don't think they've played together before, have they?

Doubt we're getting anything here.
Sheehan gets ball, feeds Izzy, crosses for Baka to score. Well, that's the plan....

Another booking for simulation?

The Sheffield Wednesday player did look like he was going down of his own accord but given Lee looks like he's made contact i'd be tempted to suggest that's a free kick too.

Probably trying to show fairness. Not that Dapo's got anything from this ref.

Coming on at the same time as our triumvirate, their sub is the lad who hit double figures on loan to Oxford last season. Today, booked for diving already.

There are 30 EFL teams playing (or played at lunchtime) and of all those, the only ones to get fewer attempts on target than us are Scunny. They're bottom of the entire league and losing 5-0 at Harrogate.

Doyle keeping up his reputation for needing 5 or 6 clear cut chances to score a goal, IMO he needs to go in January to a league 2 side as that's his level, he needs replacing in January he's not good enough for league 1.

He just never looks confident & snatches at his shots, no composure what so ever. He'd struggle to finish his lunch.

Or if you prefer, his full name: Olamide Oluwatimilehin Babatunde Oluwaka Shodipo

John lost his head and shot, despite what that moron co-commentator said. Sheehan would’ve scored if he found him.

I'm in agreement with the commentator on this one. For me, it looked like he looked up across the box as opposed to looking at the net.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was a cross. Certainly seems like we're a bit shot shy today. Especially when it comes to working the goalkeeper.

Only one shot on target for their keeper as it stands. Easy game for the keeper but a tough game for everyone else.

Suspect that Sheffield Wednesday's employing the low block like we faced at Burton.

I love the Nigerian diaspora's commitment to forenames. We've had Foluwashola Ameobi and his brother Samuel Oluwaseyi Jesutoromo Ameobi. Adds to the gaiety of things, IMO.
Yeah, miles more interesting than just having a 'Derek' playing.

That's me dad's name - and on topic, when I was knee-high to a turnstile he convinced me his (non-existent) middle name was Aloysius

Not sure where the six minutes have come from. Seems like one of those games where we're not going to score.

Think Evatt needs to learn quickly that if we're not going to test the keeper we're rarely going to win games.

Running round with all the energy is pointless if you aren't testing the keeper.

No surprise the ref hasn't given a pen at the death. Good performance in terms of effort but no shots means no goals.

Missed opportunity. Wednesday blocked well and managed to take their chances.

Take the early opportunity and that match takes an entirely difference look and feel. Should've won that one. Another match where i'm sure we're coming away without the points.
