Only one hattrick against a non-league side? Double hattrick or he's in stocks outside Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:42 pmIf he's got a hat-trick by half-time, to add to a couple from Doyle/Baka, he can have the second half off...GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:33 pmI sit corrected.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:28 pmWe played 51 last season. Salah has played 51, 48, 52, 52, last 4 completed seasons. Firmino, 48, 52, 48, 54. Of course those are appearances, rather than did they play the full 90.

I’d be up for bringing #Evatt10 on as sub, give him 15 minutes to bag.

I'd start with him to be honest in the SKD role but haven't seen enough of his ability to flick the ball on. Didn't see enough of that in the last match. It would be worth having him on for set pieces though with his current set piece record. He looked like a more athletic version of Emile Heskey (and I suspect more potent a goal threat). Would make an interesting game if Sarce was on thats for sure.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:19 pmI’d be up for bringing #Evatt10 on as sub, give him 15 minutes to bag.
In all seriousness though, I'm expecting a strong lineup tonight:
Dixon
Isgrove
Santos
Aimson
John
Lee
Williams
Thomason
Kachunga
Bakayoko
Afolayan
With the bench having a mixed bag of the rest of the players as per the last FA cup match.

Interesting to note that we are drifting like a barge in the betting. Hard to know why that is, but there's been a significant move in the last few hours, which could suggest someone knows something about injuries/team selection and has taken it to be a negative for our chances.

We're still favourites on 365, Ladbrokes & Betfair, which are the only 3 I have checked

Or a few Stockport fans just fancy their chances?The_Gun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 4:51 pmInteresting to note that we are drifting like a barge in the betting. Paddy Power has Stockport as 13/8 and Bolton at 13/10 which for teams two leagues apart seems...yeah.The_Gun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 4:51 pmInteresting to note that we are drifting like a barge in the betting. Ah yeah that rings a bell, do vaguely remember the previous one watching it with the family.Prufrock wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:18 pmNot *that* one I don't think. It was my grandad's 80th so I missed it, and we watched it upstairs on his computer so I assume dodgy stream rather than TV.KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:47 amFa cup semi maybe? Although as I recall that game never happened.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:44 amWhen's the last time we were live on terrestrial telly? Elton Welsby era?
We did, I think, watch the one before, which I missed for his 70th birthday (which also didn't happen) on TV so that would be my starting point.
I have a sneaking feeling the Liverpool FA Cup replay, Matt Mills up front, might have been on BBC, though I watched it in a pub (I think with Crayons) so not sure.
Come to think of it I'm sure we played Arsenal in the FA Cup once on BBC.

Maybe someone wasn't seen getting on the bus. Someone like Eoin Doyle for example being missing would surely effect the odds. Similarly if we're showing up with a lot of youth players.The_Gun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 4:51 pmInteresting to note that we are drifting like a barge in the betting. Could also be the larger bettors, actual market movers, coming in to cover exposure, or the bookies overcorrecting.
I wouldn't overreact just yet (until we see Dapo on crutches in which case panic, panic like there is no tomorrow)

Oddschecker has them 21/10 with us generally approaching evens.

I must confess the Rotherham draw has rather deflated me. I’m not that arsed now. Would rather win in the pizza cup…

Yeah, I mean our odds got significantly longer than they had been earlier in the day.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 5:00 pmWe're still favourites on 365, Ladbrokes & Betfair, which are the only 3 I have checked
As Keyser notes, a lot of the 'sharp' money tends to comes into the market at a late stage, and will be the biggest determinant of the price teams go off at. Stockport fans having a few quid on will have no real impact.

As long as Delfouneso isn’t involved I’m ok with whoever else plays.

I guess that depends on whether you think this game is football's equivalent of waiting to hear if Sidney Postethwaite has given the 6 dog bread and milk at a flapping track...The_Gun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 5:46 pmYeah, I mean our odds got significantly longer than they had been earlier in the day.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 5:00 pmWe're still favourites on 365, Ladbrokes & Betfair, which are the only 3 I have checked
