And we let him leave with Evatt saying we are well covered in that position. So let’s bring on the option we have to do that job. Because we aren’t short there according to Evatt.
"Our captain buggered off midseason, we're in awful form and now we are well short going forward through the middle. Any other questions?"

Not sure that's better than bullshit.
And the fact he hasn’t said it left us short presumably implies he doesn’t want to say it was a one way thing. Which it clearly wasn’t.

There is a weird set of people who can’t let Evatt take any criticism. Evatt is a young manager who is by his own admission not getting everything right. At the moment he’s clearly struggling and we don’t know how much either given we don’t know what’s gone on behind the scenes.

But the squad looks particularly light to me and we have to sort that in January. To do that we have to correct earlier mistakes and get rid of deadwood like Kachunga. Otherwise we won’t have the scope to improve.

Gonna say it, Dapo's passing is shite today.

So many missed opportunities.

Refs are soft touches when at these noisy home grounds. Pompey players time wasting and kicking the ball away every time and it's always always ignored.

I'm not one of them. He has had plenty of criticism off me, I am just not sure what you want him to say here. Something has gone on and he clearly can't come out and give details. He can't talk us down when we are already on a bad run. I'm not sure how public crying over the captain leaving is going to do any good at all. We also can't say "Well, Sarce should have stayed" because we have no clue what has happened.

Doyle is not a target man, plain and simple.

The formation either needs to change to support him or just drop him and go with Baka when fit.

Referee gave a free kick for that?

Who said the loss would undo the 2 goals last week?

Awful result, better performance.

Deserved a point from that, but we have all the penetration of a 2" cock.

These referees need to be accountable for some of these decisions. I know I'm a Bolton fan but this is rediculous.

Game over, they win with a goal I assume crossed the line.

Too many players expecting teams to roll over. Guess what, they aren't. They're going to play dirty, waste time, fall over, trick the ref. Something seriously needs to change as we're playing well for 45 minutes and losing.

To balance out that we didn't get torn to bits at any stage today, Pompey are awful.

Couldn’t build on last week against poor opposition. Wank. Need to get this lot firing in the two cup games given weve feck all else thanks to loaning players out or falling out with them. If we don’t start picking some points up in November this is going to get serious quickly.
