Clean sheet. 2 goals in a game where Dapo was unusually quiet.
Isgrove is getting better in that position. I think Gethin might be a tad worried.

Sheehan, Aimson, Isgrove and Santos were all great. Amaechi, in a very brief cameo, looked like a lively player.

Can’t complain at all with that performance (although I’m sure Little Miss Sunshine will soon be along to disprove that).

Positives:

1. We did what we needed to do to get ourselves out of a rut.

2. We kept a clean sheet.

3. Ameachi came through his few minutes unscathed

4. We looked comfortable throughout

Negatives:

1. Against almost certainly the easiest opposition this league has to offer, it took an unforced error by their centre-half for us to take the lead

2. The now familiar lack of urgency and creativity, particularly through the middle - Evatt is a self-confessed admirer of Guardiola but Guardiola's teams don't take so long to get forward

Was great - we were never going to blow them away. The run we are on and the way they set up. Other than Dixon jitters we gave them nowt till that belting volley at the end. John and Isgrove were great. Sheehan and Lee got the right balance between attack and helping Jesus. Dapo was marked out but others showed up. Penalty lucky but the second goal is what we are all about. Needed that.
