Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

We are, for want of a better word, screwed. Injuries left right and centre and an unnamed bug (presumably not covid, or our games would be cancelled) going around. The light at the end of the tunnel may be a locomotive at this rate.

What stuffs going on behind the scenes that a mere mortal like me won’t understand?

He’s a fecking prick at times Evatt. He’ll talk himself out of a job at this rate.

Think/hope he's just being a bit cautious in that statement because, let's face it, there are a lot of conflicting opinions flying around amongst the fans..Nobody can help injury or illness and they;ll affect the whole club. On top of that, Wednesday was a real shock to the system, and maybe he's not quite so ready to make too positive statements in case they backfire. How soon we forget Manager of the month etc...Silence is golden, and all that.

I heard that as more "They're not dying and maybe people won't understand how it can affect your performance to feel like that."

It was poor phrasing, though. As is often the case with him.

Also, I'm not sure I believe him about Dapo. I think he's trying to give some of the lads some cover.

How’s our medical department compare to the rest of the league? Is it purely bad luck or have we pushed it by running with low numbers behind the scenes?

Seems Baps has added to our woes but there is a chance Doyle could be back, on the bench at least but if it’s any consolation, Donny are also plagued by injuries so we can’t use that as an excuse tomorrow!

M.J.Williams is out for the foreseeable future with a shoulder injury. Today's Bolton News.

A lot of impact and stress injuries, so you'd think not. Might be tough on the team giving enough contact hours to the injured players, though.

As if the injury crisis weren't severe enough, I'm concerned we risk it worsening even further by being practically forced to field players who are either unfit or desperately in need of a rest.

Oxford have 7 out with Covid including their only fit goalkeeper which was enough to call their match on Saturday off. Very much temporary absences though compared to us

Covid as well innit, everything else is secondary! Vaguely recall Boro not turning out at Blackburn all those years ago and getting a fine plus -3.

Is there any news on Isgrove? At the moment it looks like we'll be down to one recognised outfield player on the bench come Saturday.

Pulled hamstring. No time given.

Pulled hamstring apparently. Don't think it was particularly severe judging by his reaction so probably out for 1-2 weeks. Can't imagine he'll have any chance of playing against Cheltenham, probably back for the league game against Fleetwood on Tue 7th Dec.

Getting knocked out of the FA Cup really was a blessing in disguise, giving us a free weekend rather than having to play Rotherham next Saturday.

If we are really desperate can we not register Sam Hird as a player to fill a spot on the bench ?, or can that not be done outside of the transfer windows ?

He's probably not fit but he's only just turned 34 and played last season for Barrow and can play CB & DM - surely he could play 10-15 mins should we suffer more injuries at the back, then de-register in January.

Sometimes it rains. Sometimes it pours. Sometimes him upstairs is just pissing on you.

The Izzy injury is just.....wow. The Dapo suspension just makes it worse.

At this rate, by Saturday the Whites will look like a scene from the film "Jason and the Argonauts" :(

It's genuinely close to us not being able to put an 11 out.
