Not the only Wanderers..v Wycombe away 20-Nov 3-O clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Great cross by Kachunga, unlucky Thomo, just too far away from his left foot reach.

We’re well in this, but lack of goal scorers hurting the cause. We must, must address this in Jan.

We haven’t looked worse than a non-league team. Indeed, they haven’t looked like a side that was two divisions above us last season.

Always likely to concede from a set piece but I wouldn’t be astonished if we scored. Fans largely positive - “Evatt Evatt give us a wave” three minutes in - although of course there are moans at players keeping possession or corners being taken short.

Winnable, losable. COYWM.

Moss Bank Park stuff. Dixon hasn't been able to pass the ball out once. They man-mark us, foul us, bully us and "unsporting" is putting it very mildly describing them. This league isn't for pretty stuff, get a couple of big ruffians up front, that's exactly what the rest do.

Just had a look at league table, first time in a few weeks.
Not as vertigo-inducing as I thought. Win this and we're back in the mixer (aah, the infinite optimism of a football fan:)

There to win, this one. Expect them to be better after the break, so we need to be. Dapo still owes us a goal.

I'm very pleased to read that we've got to half-time with a clean sheet and look capable or making marks on theirs.

I'm concerned about Lee and Williams' ability to make it through the second half without fading but we at least have something to build on.

Trying to get that goal too badly. Almost the opposite from Kachunga at times when its a case of have a shot.

Much better performance than Wednesday.

This doesn't seem good. Dislocated shoulder perhaps?

Me being me I'd have brought Amaechi on and dropped Thomason back alongside Lee and seen what either Amaechi or Afolayan could do at 10.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:
