I don't think Sadlier would throw a fit if he were forced to play LWB if the two actual LWBs were injured, but he shouldn't be second choice.

In todays Bolton News he's still mentioning getting another two in wth no reference to Sadlier being one of the two. If that's the case it could be Dempsey then quite possibly a defender.
Duh? Important stuff please. How did the kettle train this week? No twinges? In his element?

It could be potentially Dempsey and that huge NL CB maybe?
The kettle is having a pre-match warm up as we speak 😁
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

I wonder whether Gillingham 2-7 (seven) Oxford and Bolton 6-0 Sunderland will be playing on Dempsey's mind this weekend.

I don't think his mind will be altered one bit. Sounds like he immediately wanted to come here and agreed to crack on after talks.

I will be surprised if he isn't a Bolton player this window. Not shocked, but I expect it to happen now they've played all their January games.

Sunderland have signed Danny Batth - appreciate budget wise they are beyond us but that’s the kind of Centre half signing I would have liked. Maybe next summer.
😂I’m not sure whether we signed him and played him up top actually?

Best header we've had go in for us this season.

TBF. Think it's the only header we've had gone in?

Evatt postmatch on Dempsey:
It is progressing. We know there is still work to be done and it is well-publicised the one player we are trying to get, or at least the one position. When we get that we will be finished with players coming in – possibly some outgoings as well but we will see. It was great today to look towards the bench and have serious options to come off that are not necessarily going to weaken the team.

Triple subs. 2 more goals and numerous chances. Man's not wrong.

FYP – I assume you meant triple not tripe

That felt tactical. Let the front three rest so six new legs can chase down Sunderland's defenders. Lovely stuff.

Boooo we want more rumours and last minute deadline day drama.

I hope he’s keeping his cards close to his chest and will pull a new centre back out the bag on Monday :D

Rumours this morning that we’re also looking at another left back alongside Dempsey.

I’d personally have had Ben Jackson back from Hudds - him and John were a good pair to have in that position.

Given the system we are playing a left wing back is needed. Can we just clone Fossey with a left foot?
