Re: Statement of Capital
I think he may need some psychological help. I suspect that he's been manouevred and propelled into something out of his comfort zone and beyond his control and, even though he might not have recognised it himself, he's actually struggling to cope with it all mentally.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 11:02 amNot just the hype. This is the bad side of it. One man never won against the mob. M.R is in a bad place right now. He needs to step back a bit from the limelight and regain his form. I imagine Gareth will tell him the same?Gudnib wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 8:19 amInteresting to see that Saint Gareth is planning to meet with Saint Marcus to find out what's going on.

I could be wrong but trying to live up to the hype might just be getting in the way of Saint Marcus' day job.
Re: Statement of Capital
Any reason we keep coming back to Rashford on a part of the forum about the Trotter's? Surely we should move this to "Other Football" - Those that are interested can still engage with it...
Good idea. What title should we give it:
Blather for Blather?
The Bullshit Papers?
Or
Simply Saint Marcus?

Bullshit and blather don't go away if you ignore them, TD. We mustn't forget that there's more untapped bullshit than fracking gas in the North West.

Re: Statement of Capital
Oh yes, when its business or finance I can usually spot the bullshitters and blatherers quite quickly. Sometimes its just blindingly obvious from the start but proving it isn't always easy. The head in the clouds brigade are determined to keep their heads in the cloud and there are actually quite a lot of them.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 4:47 pmWell you would know…Gudnib wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 9:46 amBullshit and blather don't go away if you ignore them, TD. Re: Statement of Capital
Not much doing at Companies House this week but the latest Liquidators Statement of BWFC 2019 Ltd landed this morning. That's the company that, pre-FV, had owned BWFC since 1895.
Peterborough were the third of last season's promoted League 1 clubs to file their 2021 accounts this week. They lost £1million. Small compared to Hull's £8million and Blackpool's £5million. All three spent more on wages than their total turnover.
Sharon's busy selling season tickets for next season before she provides the numbers for last but she only has until 31 March unless she plays the COVID card. That buys you another three months.

I thought that that had been outlawed now?
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Statement of Capital
I'm sure that's the general idea, Bruce, if not the general practice.
FV spent 87% of its total footie turnover on wage costs in 2019/20, whilst mostly playing kids, and that was £2million more than they could afford out of turnover. Not long to wait, I trust, to see the 2020/21 figures.
