We'd only have ourselves to look at, should that occur. Can't base an approach to a season on what might happen in January.
Also not sure you can account for that injury list plus a massive covid outbreak.
For months at the start of the season Evatt told us we had the ideal squad all the targets we wanted and were the best team in the league. Let’s not rewrite history. There is as much misjudgement as misfortune.

I think we have an early contender for worst free kick of the year.

Got to get them in the mixer Thomo.

Awful delivery from Thomason. Unacceptably bad.

Looks like a free kick to me. Nothing intentional but he seems to have caught him in the midriff.

In a great attacking position aswell.

Looks like a dive from Rotherham for John's foul. It was a foul but it's made it that much worse that he carried on running and the rolled over.

Looks like Evatt's gonna walk at this rate.

I didn't say we were up to snuff. I do think we'd have more points without that horrendous raft of injuries and a better shot at a decent January without a serious covid outbreak on top of it.

The general standard of English refereeing is awful.

I mean sure but these are things that you go through and it’s reflective of the poor recruitment decisions in the summer. Sure we have had bad luck. It’s a contributing factor. But we can all see what went wrong last summer. Retaining faith in players who aren’t good enough and signing too many who don’t address our key weaknesses.

Ridiculously good from Dapo and DJ. The attacking quality is there, we just need to finish our chances.

Do you keep 4-8 Goodyear tyres in your house? Just incase your faith in the ones on your car is wrong?

I’m coming round to the idea that Doyle’s gone at the game and League of Ireland is now more his level.

Edit: I TAKE THIS ALL BACK!

Seems that was the better option.

The replay makes it worse.

feck me referee cheating c*nt.

Aimson done fecking twice there. Go feck yourself. It's hard enough to win without these c*nts in charge.

Aimson seemingly yanked to the ground in the goal there. Whether that affects the play its debateable but its definitely a foul off the ball.

Yes! Eoin Doyle!
