For months at the start of the season Evatt told us we had the ideal squad all the targets we wanted and were the best team in the league. Let’s not rewrite history. There is as much misjudgement as misfortune.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:31 pmAlso not sure you can account for that injury list plus a massive covid outbreak.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:25 pmWe'd only have ourselves to look at, should that occur. Can't base an approach to a season on what might happen in January.

I think we have an early contender for worst free kick of the year.
Got to get them in the mixer Thomo.

Awful delivery from Thomason. Unacceptably bad.

Hold it up Doyle ffs.

Great block by Senior. We're looking ok so far.

How the feck is that not a free kick to Dapo?
Re: Miller Light or Stella Artois. Rotherham v Bolton 1.1.22 15:00 Away
Looks like a free kick to me. Nothing intentional but he seems to have caught him in the midriff.
In a great attacking position aswell.
Looks like a dive from Rotherham for John's foul. It was a foul but it's made it that much worse that he carried on running and the rolled over.
Looks like Evatt's gonna walk at this rate.

I didn't say we were up to snuff. I do think we'd have more points without that horrendous raft of injuries and a better shot at a decent January without a serious covid outbreak on top of it.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 3:10 pmFor months at the start of the season Evatt told us we had the ideal squad all the targets we wanted and were the best team in the league. I mean sure but these are things that you go through and it’s reflective of the poor recruitment decisions in the summer. Sure we have had bad luck. It’s a contributing factor. But we can all see what went wrong last summer. Retaining faith in players who aren’t good enough and signing too many who don’t address our key weaknesses.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 3:29 pmI didn't say we were up to snuff. Ridiculously good from Dapo and DJ. The attacking quality is there, we just need to finish our chances.

Glorious opportunity for a pass from Doyle to Dapo there. Head up pass and thats a goal.

Just incase your faith in the ones on your car is wrong?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 3:34 pmI mean sure but these are things that you go through and it’s reflective of the poor recruitment decisions in the summer. I’m coming round to the idea that Doyle’s gone at the game and League of Ireland is now more his level.
Edit: I TAKE THIS ALL BACK!

Aimson seemingly yanked to the ground in the goal there. Whether that affects the play its debateable but its definitely a foul off the ball.
Yes! Eoin Doyle!
