How much space in front of fecking goal do they want to give them?

This is terrible.

Best free kick all season.

Got to get that on target.

Same referee we had when we last played Ipswich in the 5-2 result. We're looking relatively good so far, not dominant in keeping possession and a little rushed but reasonably happy so far.

Another decent set piece. Johnstone heads wide.

I think we could have Mendy in net and our back 2 would cause him issues. So many unnecessary errors and poor passes.

Some tough battling by MJ Williams, wouldn't be surprised at this rate if he ends up getting sent off, its one bad slip with this ref.

Some shocking passes from our centre halves so far. Not sure if its the lack of movement not opening up an easy pass or if the defenders are trying to thread the eye of a needle.

Lovely play by Jones there in the corner.

Commentator suggesting Trafford did well to parry, think thats a holdable shot right there that he'll be disappointed about.

Deary me Kieron Lee. Given a freebie there and so badly outmuscled off the ball. We've been giving the opposition a few easy chances in the last couple of games it would've been nice to capitalise on opposition mistakes for a change.

Aluko is looking really good for them at the moment.

Yellow about right for the GK there.

We're just crying out for that bit of quality in the final third to relax everyone. Need a new Felipe Morais!

Where is Amaechi? Covid?

Lovely take by John and so close to the right ball.

Route one by Santos, decent ball across by John, Bako just too short on the run into the box.

Makes a nice change!

Interesting to note that Vaclav Hladky, the league two goalkeeper of the year is now benchwarming at Ipswich today. That would've looked like a great signing if we could've pulled off a loan for him.

Our best 45 minutes of football in an absolute age. Setup is right. We aren’t trying to play a high line or play Ipswich off the pitch. Looking to hit on the counter. Proper muck and nettles league one stuff instead of kidding ourselves we are a better team than we actually are.

This has to be the blueprint for the rest of the season.

Only downside is goals. I just struggle to see many in this side. But we have a chance of nicking this 1-0. If we keep a clean sheet it will represent huge progress.

Impressed with Fossey's attitude and energy. He's had a real good half and I think we've landed a good one there.

First 15 was ropey af.

Shape change, I suspect prompted by injuries and to match them. Good 30 after that. Not a lot in it but we had by far the better sniffs. Baka and Charles give different threats. Shape means we can't press high and worry about midfield legs as we get towards the end but it's suites the match and the oppo. Good call while we get numbers further up and bed in the midfielders.

Got to make the chances count now. There's defo 3 pts there today for us.

Decent 45 for me. Johnston's a liability...they need to stop measuring whether he's comfortable on the ball and attach probes to my sphincter...that'll give 'em the stat they need...

New signings all showed decent moments and we've had two headers at the onion!

And we got in at nil at HT...

They also seem to have at least spoken about defending. No doubt from one of their free kicks where the fcuking line was.. :-)
