No-one stood out individually for me. No-one terrible, but no-one particularly good either.

So when you will 1-0 with a worldie, Charles motm for me. Only one who looked a threat first half as well.

Have to find a way of getting him and Dapo on the pitch together, and that second half wasn't it.

Better tempo in the 2nd half. Great goal. Fossey MoM forcing them backward with his brave direct running. Happy days.
I thought so on Fossey - couldn't see any way to suggest bringing him off at HT.
Na, would have been madness.

Rico was also very good, considering what was happening in front of him. Wouldn't argue with Fossey as MotM though.

Charles wouldn't have had the opportunity to score without Santos' pressure on their centre forward leading to us retaining posssssion in their half seconds before.

I do think that the players are still adapting to this new formation/s. Will be interesting to see how they progress with it.

Is that only Dapo's second assist this season?

When he gets the ball he takes a touch, steps, shifts the ball again, goes to move inside and walks directly into a defender that was already moving to block his run inside before the ball even got to him.

Love the guy, but he badly needs to diversify his game.

Agreed. He goes down that often, he could probably claim incapacity benefit. But like you love the guy. :-)

Add me to the Fossey Suporters Club...Our left side hasn''t seen that much pressure since Salah-ud-din attacked Jerusalem. He held the right side on his own.

The players celebration at the goal was joyful to watch. If the win was a tad lucky, well, so what, that's football for you. Get in... :D

It was except for John. He seemed half hearted in whether to go and join in or not :conf:

No idea what people are moaning about on Fossey. I have him as comfortably our best player right now. Has that pace that we lack. Very direct.

I think he’s the one in our squad most capable of playing a higher level. Xav apart who also looks to have extra class but seems to have a lot injuries.

What a goal, Dion Charles this guy will get better with games. Poor 1st half better 2nd half and I thought we got better as the game went on but what a goal - as others have said we need to find a place for Dapo in this new formation and I agree with others I do like Fossey & Santos is getting better and more imposing (as he did last season after January)

2 wins on the bounce & 2 happy Saturday nights, what a difference a win like this does to the weekend. Great scenes at the end & great support.

The last time I saw kicking as bad as Trafford's it was when the Epileptic Society's held their annual Irish Dance Competition under strobe lighting.
That's a surprise. His kicking last week was excellent.
Was poor last week for me too. I think he makes the right choices, but his execution is off. A bit like Thomason.
Or Jaaskelainen even, the misfiring shithouse. 🤔
May the bridges I burn light your way

Trouble is, the kid wants to be Ederson. So, unlike with Jussi, it'll matter.

Two starts, two clean sheets. Hopefully this will mean that Trafford will grow in to his role and get even better leaving Dixon as second choice.

His handling was much better today. He doesn't have to be perfect, he's 19. He just needs to learn and improve game on game.

He will cost us goals this season, no doubt; but he looks like he has a save in him too and I like his attitude.

Hopefully he'll be fine.

Couple of interesting snippets - Lee was an "injury" sub at HT.

Amaechi back next week (I'm not as convinced as some by him yet)...That'll make it a bit more congested somewhere on the subs bench...

Doubly fair play to Dion only two days after the birth of his second child. Bravo Sir :pissed:
