Massive let off there with them hitting the post. This MK Dons side is a really good passing outfit in our half its gonna be a challenge all match keeping them out.

Suspect we need another man in midfield as opposed to two up top. As much as I like the formation we've got going at the moment.

I'd've expected a penalty against us given some of these fall overs in the box.

FFS midfield. Way too easy for him to get a shot off there.

Trafford would be disappointed he's not got that further wide. Can't be getting beaten that easily in midfield and in net.

Clear hand ball, but they've been the better side.

FFS Morley, trying that pass there from a corner?

Not good enough today.

Absolutely all over the shop.

Evatt has given them clear instructions to sit off and hit on the break.

Only trouble is there is no break. They're all over us.

So much time, look at their press to ours. Pathetic.

I'm preferring his long crosses as opposed to playing short from corners.

25 minutes here. Nothing really to show from Bolton aside from the Johnston ball to Fossey. They've been a lot better at controlling the play and going for our jugular.

Don't think we've been adventurous enough in our passing. It's all midfield back to the GK or Defence and then long balls over the top which is sort of making Bakayoko look isolated out there.

Possibly our game plan? Been getting the impression we're saving our fitness for the second half in matches lately. (conceding however is not part of the game plan)

Chest trap for the goal. Uses his arm to control, not his chest.

Some of these free kicks are a little bit pathetic, MKD seem to be going down at the slightest of touches. Bolton seemingly doing it less so, but i'm clearly biased.

No, we're just being outplayed. As has been pointed out, we're sitting off them when they have posession in their own half, presumably in an effort to regain posession in our own half and hit them on the counter attack, but they're finding it too easy to go straight through the middle of the pitch. When we do have possession, their quality pressing has stifled us.

Not that it matters much now, will have a look when there's a replay :-(

Morley is having a mare in the middle today.

He's getting swamped.

They're pressing Morley onto his left, he won't use it and he leaves himself no options.

It's been the obvious issue since he arrived.

Well done to their analysis boys.

I get what you're saying, but last match and a few others, we've had a considerable change in terms of how quickly we press the opposition in numbers. Possibly a sign of us going more gung-ho later on in the match.

Really is some lovely pressing by MKD. Seemingly constant. Best attack we've had all match have originated by our centre backs. Need to step up our passing speed in midfield.

Almost as if we're not taking advantage of them pressing us.
