I think Fossey was the reason to play this system. I’d like to see a 442 or 433. It now doesn’t suit the components we have available.

I thought the same with Jones, when Jones has been out of the side we've not got that inside runner with bodies out wide. I'd keep Charles on here, lad needs a goal.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 4:33 pmI think Fossey was the reason to play this system. I’d like to see a 442 or 433. Luke Murphy on for Crewe, that is now two ex-Bolton players from times that are best forgotten.

Not sure! Perfect weight and direction. No surprise with this ref – or any in this league.

Got to say it’s hard not to. You take Jones and Fossey out and we do lack an awful lot. All over the park we lack the thrust they bring. Balance doesn’t feel right and Sadlier has not impressed me.

Sounds like ( almost)another goof of the year from Santos this time..

Is it too easy to clear their lines by the opposition. Keep seeing pressing from 2 of our players and then one just in midfield being able to take it on the half turn and then put us up against it. Seems like only a few are pressing up top.
On a more positive note, Crewe lost to Sunderland 2-0 late on so there is an argument to say we could change this.

Love a late goal don’t we! Not sure it warrants a pitch invasion mind…

Was that the worst pitch we've played on this season? Didn't look it to me, commentary suggesting it was though.

That was another game where we just didn't step up, but what matters is the win.

Maybe the fans had heard the simultaneously-breaking news that Italy's daily coronavirus death toll today is half of yesterday's and decided, given the Italian government's decision to roll back all Covid restrictions, that the pandemic was officially over.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 5:01 pmLove a late goal don’t we! Or maybe not. Trip's short enough for a few wide lads to have got on the outside of too many bevvies and now be giving it the big one to <checks notes> Crewe.
