They've moved evening kick-offs for next season to 19:45.

All those chippy teas we're going to have to have now due to the additional time constraint. Didn't think about that, did they?!

Exacerbating this year's potato shortage by pushing up chippy demand. Boo!

I very rarely do pessimism, I really don't, but there's a slight edge of warning amongst the distant drums of "what we've got" that urges caution. More "what we had" with Fossey gone. I want to be entirely wrong in this, just a slight feeling of been there before. Okay, back on with the rose-tinters..

Apparently, it was so bad the entire starting XI were subbed at half time.

Good news for them and for football in general I suppose.

Surprised to see them not carrying a points deduction into this season. Can't help shake the feeling that we were harshly treated by the league (not as harsh as Bury however). Still I wouldn't wish our treatment on Derby and our league at the time became some what of a mockery as a result of it.

I'm perhaps sailing against the wind here but I think a decent case could be made for arguing the opposite.

Interesting. They could've penalised us further granted but it seemed that the penalties that were imposed upon us far exceeded those that had caused the problem in the first place.

Restrictions on playing youth players, transfer embargoes for new owners and points deductions that crippled us for a number of seasons. That entire season under Keith Hill was doomed from the start through no fault of the new ownership.

Might be ignorance on my part regarding Derby's situation but I don't see them having a season under new ownership being crippled.

I don't think we were treated any less equitably than Derby? The reason their points deduction was the season they were playing was because Admin was announced in Sept. We went into Admin in May well aftervthe cut off for the points deduction to have been the same season. It applied to the next season in our case (after the cut off date), specifically to stop clubs who were looking like relegation fodder declaring Admin after they were relegated anyway (was it Leeds who did this before the rule change?)

Yes, it was. 15 minutes before the end of the season I think.
