Spoke too soon I guess.
Lets hope this isnt a precursor for the actual game to get postponed.

Nope - they’ve moved to the artificial pitch and played on. Good lads.

Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Saw this on the BN deadline day transfer thread;
" Some new information on two trialists that were with the B Team in their game against Barrow the other day.
Dubem Eze, midfielder, been at Norwich’s academy since 2021. Unfortunately, he is no relation of Eberechi Eze.
David Pepple, born in Leicester but moved to Canada, free agent after leaving Vancouver Whitecaps, was an unused sub."
Anyone know anything about either player?

Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!
And the key to a result is a good

He's had time with the England development set-up, so should be easy to get some decent information on him.

I saw that on the main thread and wondered why. Now I know!

Was that a risk with his lack of a break given the timing of the season in Ireland?

Arran Pettifer is the B-teamer moving to League of Ireland - St Pat’s - on a permanent. Good luck to him.

Two trialists for the Bs' friendly v Rangers (B) – one in the middle of the back three, the other up top. Approaching half-time, 0-0.

Ben Andreucci has started his loan spell at Buxton brightly. Four goals and three assists in just six appearances.

Saw khumbeni scored for Morecambe on Friday - might be able to make some money on him.
Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Yeah he seems to start every game for them, which is an encouraging sign. I wonder whether we'll look to loan him out again next season or try to sell him in the summer?officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:49 pmSaw khumbeni scored for Morecambe on Friday - might be able to make some money on him.

He's contracted to the end of next season with a year's extension option. So we could loan him to D3 next season, see how good he is.The_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 11:32 amYeah he seems to start every game for them, which is an encouraging sign. I don’t know whether anyone on here is clued up regarding our youth teams these days, but I’ve noticed that a lad called David Abimola seems to score in pretty much every game he plays.
I realise that regional youth football is not necessarily a fantastic standard, and there are plenty of kids who score a hatful at that level and never make it, but I wonder whether this lad might have a chance.

Some folk might have seen him at home games, in the North Stand, as a ball boy. He's frigging huge.
