Go on Mpolton Gouonderers!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Got in a taxi in Greece last week. After ascertaining my nationality, the driver asked me the international male-to-male question: do I follow football? Delightedly, I said yes I do: Bolton Wanderers. Absolute blank. "Stelios Giannakopoulos?" Absolute blank. We sat in silence thereafter.

I had similar with a couple of guys from a Korean supplier who I'd picked up from the airport. An absolute blank. That was until until a couple of years later when I went to pick the same guys up after we'd signed Lee Chung-yong. I thought they were going to wet themselves..
May the bridges I burn light your way

It’s a great interview. Allardyce articulates exactly why modern football is rubbish. He’s spot on.
