True but within a narrow group. Last season City only used 21 players in the league (minimum of 90 minutes aggregate) – the joint-lowest in the PL.

Big crowd expected today? I know there’s not usually a positive correlation between crowd size and our performances, but it’d be nice to see a big turnout for the home opener.
As for the football, I am irrationally confident as ever. 2-1 victory to The One and Only Wanderers with Dion and Rico (!) getting the goals.

I think I've seen 15k somewhere, possibly the club twitter.

It would be very funny if Rico broke his duck against the set-piece shahs.

He’s 6ft 5 or whatever and up for every set piece. Statistically it seems ridiculous he hasn’t scored yet.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 1:24 pmIt would be very funny if Rico broke his duck against the set-piece shahs.

Not quite sure what to make of it all...

Maybe Baka instead of JDB as a result of fitness levels kept up by Baka over the off season. He's played more international matches so perhaps its as simple as that.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 2:05 pmDempsey for Lee

Expecting it to be a tough test today.

Their left-foot set-piece wallah Jacobson is only on the bench.

Good luck to the whites today. I'm in Weymouth until 4:30pm so it may have to be dial-a-brew if need be. Hope Mrs Sonic is in a good mood?

Unlucky there Baka. Great move, inches away from making it 2.

We play some lovely football at times.
Lovely finish by Morley. Great pass by Dapo. Knife through butter.
