Iredale and Bradley coming off.

Iredale seems to have had a really mixed game. Sloppy at times and quality at others. Don't think he's had a bad game, just not to the same level as what we are used to.

Bradley has been really quiet today. Heat playing a factor maybe? Good to see Sadlier given a go.

I'd have thought these might be good circumstances in which to bring Lee on.

Great save from Traf. feck* between John and Sads who each trotted out to stop the short corner, then each left it to the other. Vale played short then found the header at the far post.

I’ve liked him. Corners not so good though

Think I might be under that impression as him being slow to react early on. Like I said not a bad game just not as impressive as usual. Bradley on the other hand has been anonymous.

Still 6 minutes stoppage time. Plenty of time to let Port Vale get some more opportunities. Twitchy bum time an all that.

I love Bod, but an out-ball he is not.

A point more than I thought we'd end up with at half-time and a good result in the circumstances.

That'll do. Decent point with 10 vs 14.

McDons lose 3-0 at Ipswich, who are now top, and drop to the bottom of the division.

Character that on a hot day. Somewhat helped by Port Vale being absolutely wank

23 home wins and 23 away draws would do me!

Yeah, think you'd generally take a point away with 10 for 55 minutes

Vale might get better once Harrison, Massey and Holden settle in. But balls to ‘em.

Sort of game that explodes the idea we are soft-centred. One goal conceded in three league games, and that was a daft corner at the current table-toppers.

The referee is abysmal. Beyond abysmal. Yes. Biased even maybe.

But that 30 minutes of football from Santos was absolute garbage. Lumbering around like he couldn’t be bothered. Pushing in the box. Casually letting himself get turned. Argue the merits of the yellows. Howl at the ref. But Santos does this enough to know he’s a problem. He didn’t look interested. He’s captain. He’s here to stand up week in week out. And often he does. But too often he lets us down. Ridiculous heat and his teammates have to scrap for a half because he was a moron.

I’m fuming at the referee. But this happens. Good players don’t get in that position. Santos is for me a huge let down. Has talent. But mental application. Not enough.
This is nonsense btw. He was silly and gave the refa decision to make but he was too wound up if anything. Gave Dapo a bollocking first half for a lazy pass. He fecked up, but it wasn't for want of trying.
