'We know that a football kit is so much more than a shirt, shorts and a pair of socks'.

Clearly I've missed something then :conf:

Hat. You've missed the hat. Essential for the modern day footballer.
Ah yes. Then, of course, there's the matching snood and gloves combo. :D

These socks, by the way. Are they the ones that roll to above the knee cap? :D
May the bridges I burn light your way

Looks like they may be unveiling the new kit today.
. .
These were the choices:

I wanted the 90s home (middle one) and the green away. I'd be happy enough with the 80s home (left one), but not the one on the right - pinstripes and white shorts. No thanks.

Please let it not be the black away kit. Black away kits always relegate us...

Just having an interesting chat with Flanners about Home #2 - which you describe as the 90s one and I agree (he doesn't see it). I think it's too much of a cover version of the 93-95 one - with the armbands slid up to be shoulder bits.

I love 1 and I'd prefer 3 to 2 TBH. Away ones I'm not arsed about any of them - marginal teal preference.

I'm torn between 1 or 3 for home (don't like proper collars on kits). I'd prefer a bit of red on #1 (maybe on the bands on the sleeves?). 3 is maybe a bit too much Yankees baseball.....
Main consideration for me is that we retain the navy shorts with a predominantly white top.

I'm quite a fan of the middle away kit, but weirdly I quite like the green one too

Nothing's weird in personal choice mate, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone

I hear ya on the 'baseball' thing but I quite like it, for a change. And yeah, it all needs to be seen in context with shorts & socks

See, I was looking at the shoulder panels there and seeing them in comparison to the 99-01 kit, just shrunk down a bit.

It matters not, it's the 80s one. Which is good. Looks very minimalist. Not convinced on having the back sponsor on the replicas - means it's going to look a bit awkward on anyone without a bit of shirt printing on the back...

It's 1 on the Home Shirt. It's online in the club shop!

I endorse this decision by my fellow fans. And I applaud the club for the idea. Well done all!

Looks damn fine there. Love the chunky stripes on the shorts. I just think that enormous sponsor on the back spoils it a little - but they're paying for the space, so I can live with it.

As others have noticed on Twitter, the elephant has disappointingly taken a break this season. Shame.

All part of the plan, hard to carry an elephant to the end of the season. Less weight more speed!

Not too keen on the location of the ARBWORKS, would've much preferred that to have been at the bottom of the back of the shirt. Gonna make it a bit of a tight squeeze to get the names and number on the kit, unless the name is at the bottom?

Need every bit of real estate to get the money in.

You can add a name and number on the website, it is placed underneath with a smaller number.

Nice kit. Hoping for teal on the away as that’s the one I had that season, wore to the last game at burnden etc. that’s the kit I would be most likely to buy in the end of season sale 😂

Can't fault the business mentality. A sponsor on the arm would be a good location I reckon.

I will probably buy one, but I agree with those saying the back of shirt sponsor is a bit aggressive.

Not sure I understand back of shirt sponsor being aggressive? Help!

Previous rear sponsors have had a single line at the bottom of the shirt, and haven't been present on the replicas. This one looks enormous and clunky in comparison.

If the money helps us finance our way to the title, I'm not that fussed. But it is a bit of an eyesore.

Very nice.

I'm actually more enamoured with the rather fetching bucket hat modelled by Iredale.
