Surely Ashley is no longer allowed to call himself Young? He’s as old as dust

Can't blame the goalie for failings in front of him.
Sadly TD on this showing you can.

1st goal if not impeded then his positioning was responsible for them scoring directly from the corner.

2nd, catches Ings trailing leg. Penalty.

3rd. Positioning and offering about 1.5meters of space for the lad to knock it in.
Blaming Dixon for the second is absolutely nonsense. 1 and 3 sure. But he is what he is. A backup keeper signed from Barrow. We could and should have better but it’s an Evatt blind spot.

What a shift from Bradley again. Also, did the ref just book Baka for that one foul?
Aye, he's only booking players with shirt numbers 43 or below.

Go away.

I could put blame on Aimson as he's the one allowing Ings to remain onside but that would really bother you.

Evatt’s continual refusal to give Sadlier game time is odd when he plays Kachunga who looks as absolutely useless as ever.

It’s poor squad management in my view. In same way as putting Santos straight back in wasnt the right move. Sadlier deserves a go at number 10.

Well, 4-1’s harsh.

Any positive thoughts on the game? We missed you first half.

That's it then. No real shock, the gap in leagues is too great. :(

Looked like it. Cynical foul in a nothing area perhaps. Nonsense given the number of fouls Kamara gave away.

Scoreline seems harsh given that first half.

Dixon making some good saves to be fair.

Is this revenge for the 5-2 way back when?

Yeah, as much as I'm a bit critical on 1st and 3rd goals, he's also made some decent stops, in what has been a second half lesson.

We were cut open but it was offside and I’m not even convinced that if you ignore that fact that it’s a penalty. But we know Dixon is rubbish. But that wasn’t his fault.

Had a good go - but we’re miles off this level and it showed second half. Not sure we’ve learnt much there unfortunately.

Well. Nice for Villa fans to give it the big 'un about winning against a Third Division side, bless. Apparently they won in Europe once.

Good first half shows what we can do. A few holes hither and yon don't tell us much we don't know - Dixon's a decent shot=stopper but not a very good goalkeeper, Aimson is willing but limited, Lee can be very good but not for long. And Evatt doesn't make enough substitutions even when he's got the strongest squad he's ever managed.

On we go. We're on a long long journey, but we're pointing in the right direction.

I think we are learning where the weak spots in the squad are and where we look ok for cover and quality in depth.

Last two games have been instructive. I’m sure Evatt has taken note.

Goodbye Vienna then; time to get back to reality. Just hope we can bounce right back . Sounds like we missed Bod and need a reorganise. Not the end of the world.

He keeps him onside as the ball is played through. Step up and the linesman calls it offside. He doesn't, Ings goes through and Dixon catches his trailing leg.

The only 2 players involved in the lead up to the penalty.

They scored from is so I'd say they're directly responsible. I bet you're blaming Santos.

Ah well, premier league experience won out in the end
