This time wasting is Accringtonesque.

Nearly 9 fecking minutes played. Go suck a duck referee.

In a way the fact Accrington went two up might save our season because Evatt now will have to look at changing the system and without that we might have stumbled along to another 1-0 loss.
Forcing Evatts hand shows how the system was holding us back.

Give him some credit for changing man!
I’m just pleased we’ve dug in, got our own back with time wasting etc and it helps get the monkey off our back against shit teams at shit grounds.

My big worry was Delfueneso coming on and scoring an equaliser. He came on.....

I don't think he will. He won't go 4-4-2 as he's now a firm believer in two up top but won't want to weaken defence. He may go 4-1-3-2 but I doubt that as well as it leaves us more vulnerable defensively as well.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 5:02 pmIn a way the fact Accrington went two up might save our season because Evatt now will have to look at changing the system and without that we might have stumbled along to another 1-0 loss.

Got to play Dapo wide left now, anything else is madness. He's unplayable out there and shit everywhere else. Can't see us playing 352 again for a while, the difference was night and day. Thomason superb again, add Bradley into this and we could go on a good run.

Horses for courses
Plenty of games to play more than one system and surprise the opposition.
He telegraphed the fact we were playing Dapo at wing back today - change the system and they can’t contain us!
There will be games to play 352 but this was one to go 433.
Only oddity for me is Kachunga favorited over sadlier on the right off the bench.

Credit to Evatt for changing the system albeit after we went 2 down. Without Thommo with MJ at the start we were way too open. Clean sheets went through the window with that. Natural wingers playing both wing backs and two # 8s just would not work defensively and we were now disjointed in transition. We struggled. Freeing up Dapo worked wonders. Iredale at LB is such a natural fit. Kachunga brought a more reliable and smart outlet up top. Brilliant fight back. Now we have an effective Plan B. hope we see it used even more in the future, even when Connor is on the pitch. MoM, the reborn Dapo who became unplayable with the formation change.

Today shows as clearly as you ever could how the three five two isn’t working. It’s just obvious now.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 5:11 pmI don't think he will. Lovely win. Managed to watch the second half after all. Timed it right I guess. Dapo was outstanding yet again. Game changing when going forward
