Fleecing the Rams. Away V.Derby County, Sat 21st Jan.3.0' clock.

Quite often when two equal teams meet and play, it turns out non-event in terms of who wins. I doubt either wants to settle for a draw and, for us a win is almost essential if we want to chase the ace. Gloves, bob hats and snoods will probably be in evidence if the North Pole weather doesn't cancel the Pride Park extravaganza. Right now even Nostradamus would struggle with this one. So....hopefully up and at em . COME ON YOU WHITES... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Not really felt the need to talk about this one with all the head-spinning stuff from transfers and the injury.

Derby will go at us from the first whistle to the last. They will firmly believe they are the better set of players and will want to prove that - including lads we tried to sign, who will want to prove they made the right decision.

They've done well at shutting down deep playmakers this season, so a lot of it will come down to how well Morley imposes himself on the game.

I'd like to believe we can get a 2-1 away win. I suspect it'll be a very difficult afternoon, though. We have handed teams chances that Derby will take. We might need to score 3 to win it and it's hard to see us doing that. Still, I live in hope.

I'd take a draw and I think it's probable

We’re on a good run, JDB is a miss from the XI. We’ll see how much of a miss and it might give Ian and the board a pointer to how urgent a striker is. Close game, could go either way. We’re probably due conceding a goal so we will need at least two to win I think.

The kettle will be primed and ready to go. It's getting descaled as I type :D

I remember going there not long after it had been built in the premiership . Colin Todd as manager. 4-0 down by half time. Which was a running theme them days. Not sure it’s got any better there for us since.

A clean sheet we can't lose and that's a fact. A win is always possible. Keep that kettle going... :kettle:

Taking my lad to his first away game. He’s 14 and very excited.

Please don’t let us concede an early goal for both our sake’s.

We didn't even win there the year they went down with 11 points!

On one of the coldest nights I can recall at the Bok...Was it Stelios at about 90+5 or was that a different one?

That's the one. An absolute shocker.

Had a look and don't think we've won there in the league since the 80s. Though it's tough to trust the sources when the first website claimed we'd never won away there at all

Last 4 away there we've lost by minimum 3 goals. Uh oh.

So like Kachunga, that's overdue too! Wonder what odd I can get on 2-1 Whites, both scored by Kacha?

Edit: bookies are strangely upbeat it's not going to happen...100/1

Betfair will give you 245/1, Worthy. I think you’d have to give me 500/1, mind 😂
