Not sure how we punch through that defensive wall. Not seen enough of John pushing down the wing.

Too slow. Since they went down to ten men we’ve been awful. It’s slow. Isolate Bradley and he stops. Need to play with real tempo and intensity.

Currently playing into their hands.

Accrington will win this on penalties. Written all over it.

John's had a very quiet game. Pressure possibly affecting him or we're directing all our efforts down the right side. Good first half.

Them being down to 10 men doesn't seem to have helped as they're parking the bus. If we get one I reckon we'll get a few but i'm sure Accy will be happy with that too.

Oh and Sheehan is absolutely awful. Like a little boy lost in a men’s game. Time he grew a pair.

Last 3 mins a display of exactly that.

Not one ball into the box from the wing or through the middle. We should be absolutely peppering that box.

Gonna be defence v attack. And the way to win is to move the ball faster, create overloads. Toal and Mbete and Morley need to step up 5-10 yards, keep pushing them back. Patience yes but penetrate too. Would also like more from John - wondering if Evatt will go for Randy’s better dribbling skills.

Their boss man will be telling them they can nick this. Wish we'd nailed a goal and we need to do that quick, then another. Time for a bit of class. Come on lads.... :kettle:

It’s quite simple. Isolate them one on one with overloads even drive into the box and get some delivery in.

Too ponderous.

Front row and Lee and to be fair Kachunga’s movement is class. But we find neither early enough. Morley showing his limitations. Too slow. To deliberate. Needs to set the tempo. And basically minimise the times Santos is involved as he slows it down too much.

Far too pedestrian, giving them all the time in the world to get behind the ball. Move the ball quicker and drag the feckers all around the park. Mbete who doesn’t want to cross the ball is getting into positions that John should be in. We’ve had feck all down the left!

Accy left Santos free on the edge of the box numerous times towards the end of the half. I’d be happy enough seeing him have a few more cracks at goal if this continues to be the case.

Nobody wants to cross the ball in this team.

It's true unfortunately. He even looks scared, which is not his fault but adds to the general aura of softarsedness.

I think it's fine. Of course they're going to sit in. We don't have a target. Patience is the word. Pick the times to up the tempo. They're obviously playing for pens.

fecking come on.

Up to us now to step it up - too slow going forwards. Randy probably the best option on the bench to change it. Could go 343 and lose one of the midfielders - Sheehan obvs!

Agree with this but was pretty scary how we ran the clock down ourselves at the end there! Don’t wait too long!

Full agreement. We're in the driving seat and should be able to break this low block down.

Still breaking down teams that sit back has somewhat been our achilles heel recently so it's a challenge.
