Just wondering how many are left in the lower stand. Hoping I can snag several when they’re on sale to members tomorrow. I know there’s plenty of seats left upper so it’s not an issue if not. Much appreciated.
Mainly just the odd seat dotted about, apart from that bottom corner where there are a few available seats grouped together.
This is the upper tier for reference but they'll open more sections tomorrow I'm sure.

Re: Wembley Details
Aren’t we meant to have the middle tier right round towards half way? Don’t get why it stops at the sides?

Re: Wembley Details
Blocks 201-205 are corporate/hospitality seating. Not sure about blocks 223-226, could be more corporate or could be they just haven't opened up those sections yet as they want to fill seats on the side that the main TV camera faces.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 8:58 pmAren’t we meant to have the middle tier right round towards half way? Re: Wembley Details
Is it likely that more sections will be opened up? I'm wondering whether it's worth waiting to buy my tickets in the hope of getting better seats.

Re: Wembley Details
So ticket office answered my query via Twitter to others - 202-205 aren’t our allocation. As someone says above they are Wembley corporate seats.
223-226 were sold to ‘Bolton wanderers corporate season ticket holders’. I assume that means those who have boxes. Which presumably means many of those seats might be empty.

Where do you want to sit? Nothing else will open up other than the upper tier now. Only single seats remaining in lower two tiers. Upper tier will open up clockwise as tickets sell. I’d not imagine it will get much past halfway round.

Glad to hear they are still selling well. Should be a fun day out.
Re: Wembley Details
Got my tickets, but further back than I would've liked. Perhaps should have waited for other blocks to open, but ah well.

Club hoping for 30K plus. My estimate of 25-26 looks about right based on sales thus far. Took 25 for Stoke semi final. Not sure what logic suggests we’d take more for this game.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 12:02 pmGlad to hear they are still selling well. Should be a fun day out.
Edit: we’ve sold a few more upper tier than I realised. Maybe 28-29K total? Which I think would be impressive.

We'd only sold 17k a couple of days ago - The number will go up pretty sharply again on the 16th, when they go on general sale. But think the club should maybe think about bringing the general sale date forwardBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 12:16 pmClub hoping for 30K plus. Going into today when it opened for members we’d sold almost 19K apparently.boltonboris wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 1:37 pmWe'd only sold 17k a couple of days ago - The number will go up pretty sharply again on the 16th, when they go on general sale. So let’s say 18.5. I’m assuming another 4K sold today roughly so far. Maybe a few more.

Re: Wembley Details
I think you may turn out be right (feel free to frame that) but I can see why people might think we'd take more this time. The logic? Well, 2011 was a very different time....BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 12:16 pmTook 25 for Stoke semi final. Not sure what logic suggests we’d take more for this game.
• Our fans might have been a tiny bit spoilt: We'd been in the Best League In The Universe for a decade. Even though Allardyce had gone, even under Megson we beat United at home. It didn't feel like what it turned out to be – a last hurrah before a sickening plunge.
• The Megson era turned a lot of fans off, and despite vociferous claims that thousands of stayaways would flood back if he was replaced, the gate figures didn't really uptick when Coyle arrived. In October 2009, a couple of months before Meggo got hooked, we hosted Spurs and had 21,305 on; in November 2010 they came again (another Saturday afternoon) and there were only 20,255 in.
• I can't recall how expensive tickets were, but I'll bet FA Cup semi tickets were more expensive than these (notwithstanding the haemhorraged purchasing power wrought by inflation, but that's by the by).
• There might also have still been some after-effects of the Global Financial Crisis, for those of our fans who aren't bankers and were therefore left to cope.
Then there's now... and just as in 2011 we might not have had much reason to doubt that the Premier escapade would last forever, we now know (whether we'd experienced it in previous decades, or we're younger supporters weaned from the crib on Okocha juice) from bitter experience that you grab the good times when they come along.
And for all the gripes on here, attendance figures over the last couple of years suggest there's strong buy-in to the whole FV/Evatt "project". While we may fret over whether we finish 6th or 7th, there's generally a good vibe around the club.
Add in that weirdly, a cup final might be a better day out than a play-off – when the emotional price of loss is huge - and I can see why more people might (I still say might) be tempted to get a ticket.

Re: Wembley Details
Oh yeah - I think all that is fair. In 2011 we were in a 'mini upward trajectory bump' and had been for a year or so but the mood was more broadly that the really good times we'd enjoyed under Sam were over. It was close to the peak of Coyle's period of course but we were starting to see some injuries bite and maybe form was just dropping off.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 2:24 pmI think you may turn out be right (feel free to frame that) but I can see why people might think we'd take more this time. But as you say - a semi final attracts some but others hold their fire for a potential final (umm yeah) and the general mood about the club as a whole wasn't that great.
Things now are different in that the broader mood since 2019 is hugely positive. People like the owner, the direction and broadly speaking what we see on the pitch. And there is a stronger connection to the town. Its also a final and as you say we've had a decade of misery without big days out on the whole. So I can see why tickets are going well for this.
You only need contrast with Rotherham who took 12,000 to last years final. Rotherham who have (if you count the wider borough) a similarish population to ourselves. Yes their home attendances are smaller but not by the magnitude of 2:1 or even wider that the Wembley sales might indicate. Which I think shows the demand for tickets on a like by like basis is probably higher.
I mean lets face it - there is a reduction here because of the competition. Were this an FA Cup semi I suspect we'd well exceed our Stoke sales.
Re: Wembley Details
Was St*ke not a sell-out? I'd just been assuming we didn't get any more! I couldn't go (thanks Gramps!) and for fairly evident reasons have avoided ever watching any of it again!

Nope - I think most people were so confident we'd walk over them, that they were "saving themselves" for the final (even though you get a reduced allocation)
We were about 10k short of selling out from memory

And quite a few missing by half time Attendance was 75,000, they took 32,000. Previous day the Manchester "Derby" had 86,000 on.boltonboris wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 3:03 pmNope - I think most people were so confident we'd walk over them, that they were "saving themselves" for the final (even though you get a reduced allocation)
