Miss a huge chance like that in such a huge game at a pivotal time. :hang:
One of them games. The weather reminds me of MKD last season.

but they look the best side we've played other than weds. They haven't cut us open with free following football, but they've basically made us play it like an away game. Swallowed us up and had us under pressure the whole half.
Fair enough. I disagree, I think they’ve been fairly average without any clear patterns of play or notably good players, but each viewer sees a different game.

We don't like it when we're not allowed to play our game.

We've been a much better threat this second half. Need to make it count though.

Barnsley beating Plymouth. Derby 3-1 up. Good teams find ways. We can’t pass.

Feels like a bellwether 45 coming up.

If we fail to score - as we usually do against the better teams - then it’s no real stretch to imagine us losing at Hillsborough, then Wembley, then limping to the end of the season.
Really fear this.

0-2 now

And it’s 2-0, the good old Header From A Corner.

Ipswich have been good enough, we’ve been just awful. Awful.

Wycombe 2 down but playing against 10 men for whole second half. That really would be a blow to the playoff hopes.

We are not a good team though, in comparison with the other top League 1 teams.

Gethin Jones is one of the most over rated players I've known, he's fcuking shite.

Terrible goal to concede. Let him run and free header.

To concede in that manner. We've essentially gifted possession, this time by Randell in the far left attacking position, only to be broke on at pace. Sloppiness up top and sloppiness in defence.

Today was never going to be easy and you can see why Ipswich are where they are but you'd hope we'd be harder to break down than this. It's like we're playing into their hands by being progressive.

It's a common script. Better team picks us off then doesn't even have to be any good to see out the win. We can beat the dross and flatter to deceive, but get found out. Archetypal flat track bullies. Honest and hard-working but not good enough to step up. It's why we'll lose at Wembley and limply roll over in the playoffs if Wycombe slip up and let us hang on to 6th.
