It’s great! Stranger things have happened than Peterborough ending up winning these.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2023 10:48 pm[tweet]https://twitter.com/theposh/status/1655 ... GgOIg&s=19[/tweet]
Love this
They have the dangerous combination of momentum and absolutely nothing to lose. If I was Wednesday I’d have far rather played Derby who were limping in.

Posh have two wins in the last five - against a relegated team and Barnsley reserves.
Mind, I’ll be hoping they beat the Owls.

This is true. Their surprise last day win and propulsion into the top 6 may afford them the momentum and ‘nothing to lose attitude’ that makes them a tough opponent.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 12:08 amPosh have two wins in the last five - against a relegated team and Barnsley reserves.

Bolton v Peterborough in the final? Wouldn’t that be a thing. I’d not rule it out either.

Re: The Play-offs.
We owe Wednesday nothing, so plaudits to the team who beat us. Barnsley are hardly our favourite opponents, but spilled milk gains naught, so good luck to them.
