Where no seagulls fly...Home to Blackpool Sat 11th Nov, 1500 hrs.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Didn't realise it but Blackpool didn't have a shot on target. Great defence!

Thought our hold up play ended with a ball off their player. All these nervy moments could've been avoided.

Great win from a really entertaining match. Moment of magic from Thomason to win it.

Portsmouth concede an equaliser late on. Meaning we're one point off the top spot.

Wow , what a goal and a very entertaining game.
Eight points clear of 7th position and eleven clear of 8th.

Oxford v Portsmouth next Saturday, then we're there on 28th Nov and at Pompey on 11 Dec. It'll be all over by Christmas!

Bodvarsson was incredible when he came on. His touch and calmness on the ball, his hold up play and pass appreciation everything was top class, might be time to start him now. Having said that it's good to have some quality off the bench. Loads of positives today, lots of sloppy play too, but at least they kept trying to play their game rather than taking the easy safe option which has hampered us in the past. Lots of bravery, lots of fight and a great win against a very good side. Even the wanker ref couldn't spoil it. The only poor performers were Adeboyejo and Morley neither of whom really did enough for me.

Agree on the comment above re Adeboyejo but a bit harsh on Morley who only came on for the last 15.
Dad bod is a must start for me.

Oxford v Portsmouth next Saturday
Postponed for internationals. Both teams probably happy. Oxford need a new manager and Pompey, after cup humiliation, are now being equalised against in injury time rather than the other way round.

Not happening. The Oxford v Portsmouth game has been postponed for international callups

We do however have Oxford and Portsmouth in successive league games with Harrogate sandwiched in the middle. So it's in our own hands as to whether we can get top spot by Christmas

Agreed on JDB, he made a real difference. Victor seemed to be more bothered by what the defender was doing than where the ball was going at times. When he brought that ball down really well on about 55 mins, he was in the mindset of “I need a goal” not the team…woeful shot, had to be hooked then.

Thought we deserved it, just. Had the better of the play. They were on top last ten but that was inevitable - we handled it well. There best chance came from Randell ignoring / not hearing Baxters call on a nothing through ball.

Rated their right wing back, number 22. He was better than JDC today and had he been on our side I’d of banked us winning by more than one. Carey is a good footballer but he’s no Barry Bannan. Dembwle was a handful first half, dissapeared second and Rhodes did feck all.

Thought our lot all played well barring Victor really.

Ah! Thanks, guys. I'd forgotten about the internationals. Annoying that Oxford and Pompey are evening games; I'd have gone to both had they been on Saturdays.

Plenty of us were worried about summer transfer window. Kudos to the way we're going. Just falling slightly below automatics at the moment...

Great win, but for an automatics, it losses that define your success or failure

How did Ollie Norburn do for them? Seeing as we were linked with him in the summer is it a case of we've missed out, dodged a bad signing or is he an average player?
