He's getting close to surpassing the amount of christmas cards he'll get this year.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 9:03 pmCMG looking lively

Simple but superb one touch stuff. Some of the best football I’ve seen a Bolton side play.

Some good stuff from Bolton here. Nice link up play with Charles, Adeboyejo and CMG. Time for subs surely. Lads up top deserve a run out.
Vic certainly getting into the game here, could've easily have got an assist there had Charles' effort hit the back of the net.
I'd like to see Jerome come on (and score).

This number 25 who has come on is a handful, fancies a contract maybe?

Great 1st penalty,
2nd carbon copy and the rest, the less said the better.

Dammit, would've liked Jerome to have taken the pen.
N'lundulu with the finish. Seems like he stopped in the run up so don't think that was allowed, can argue stop start walking but it may just get overturned for encroachment perhaps?
Retaken and saved. Loads of people in the box when it was first scored.

Bizzare. Weird run up (twice) and missed the follow up as well which looked simple enough. How very Nlundulu! Why the feck take a pen again at 3-0 in the EFL trophy with 88 mins gone!

His run up was that slow everyone ended up in the box. Never a fan of those! Sheehan is the pen man isn’t he?

Weird ending! Definitely players in the box when the pen was taken, from both sides. Missing a pen like that won’t help his confidence which it sounds like is the bulk of his issues.
Re: Stoking the fires. Home to Port Vale defending our trophy...Tues, 5th Dec 7-45.
Well 2-0. Should've been 3. Not overly convincing but bread and butter stuff.
Felt like the players were going through the motions today instead of going for the jugular. Port Vale stubborn defensively and had a good ten mins after half time, but we weathered the storm and kept the unbeaten run going.
Back to winning ways.
Most of the U21s getting knocked out with the exception of WHU U21s and Brighton and Hove Albion U21's who both won 4-0.
Terrible for the fans that, getting beat 4-0 by U21 sides.
