Collins signed on a 2.5yr deal. Hopefully there's an option to extend?

That's a cracking signing. Big statement there - to us fans, and to our competition.....

2 quality wing-backs & a proven striker in.

If you take the bad luck of recent centre-half injuries out of it, even the most sceptical of complainers surely must be happy with that?

3.5, no? 2027.

0.5 to summer of 2024, plus 3 to make it to 2027.

They won't be though. The idiots in the BN comments section are only ever happy when they have something to slate Evatt, Sharon, BWFC about.

Just going off what Iles reported. He's made a mistake somewhere.

The fact this was the most obvious signing in the world 2.5 years and £750k ago still kills me, but I'm thrilled to have him here.

This'll be fun.

I did scratch my head as this is what he wrote;

"Collins is the club’s most costly purchase since Jay Spearing in the summer of 2013, signing a two-and-a-half-year-deal at the Toughsheet Stadium, taking him to the summer of 2027."

Now if it IS 3.5yrs then even better :D But lets enjoy the fact we've signed him and sent a message to our rivals.

So how does this Collins lad fit in? With Charles in an AC/DC starting combo, do we keep Charles/Ade as starters then Collins comes on with Bod?

Just crap at maths, I suppose. At least he got the dates right.

Collins is quick, technical, creative and two-footed. Loads we can work on to improve him too. Just a brilliant addition.

It’s way above expectations for this window I think. And certainly nobody can say Evatt hasn’t had the financial backing. Proof is in the pudding of course and now it’s about ensuring we get ourselves up.

I’ll bow to Ghost et al and accept that this is a good signing.

It does almost feel like a shit or bust deal, so let’s hope he fires us to promotion.

Sounds like an astute signing. Lets hope he can gel with the team quickly and help get us promoted.

League one player of the season last season, sounds good!

He has been backed.

Somewhere between £1.5m and £2m of fees on strikers. A similar amount annually on their wages.

The board has clearly trusted our recruitment profiles and they've got 3 really good footballers in.

Now we have to get them integrated (fast) and keep them fit.

Really excited for Saturday. Huge game in the season and a great chance for the new lads to show a bit of ankle to the home crowd.

Rico is out for at least a month. We are trying to sign a centre half.

Jack Dearden on twitter, some lad has asked and he gave the thumbs up.

Saying that.. Two questions are asked to which his answer could answer both.

Is it confirmed?

Rico or Collins?
