There you go. Can’t say it wasn’t deserved. He’s had the better of santos tonight. This lot will walk the league.

Santos has been shown up tonight. He’s nowhere near championship level. Been made to look an absolute donkey tonight. I think it’s concerning this is with their second choice striker.

Have to go again Saturday and put right this shambles.

Dempsey and Morley hardly banging the door down to start next week. Has Vic touched the ball yet?

Anyone who thought we'd win clearly on the wrong planet. Not good enough. JDB is not a starter. Vic will tire a defence. Thankfully it isn't that bad as we're still. 2nd.

Cue last minute 2-2 equaliser for them
I’d settle for 2-2 now

He’s been one of the best players on the pitch. If he’s normally their sub striker he’s light years ahead of ours.

Another very poor goal. Walked between our two most experienced defenders.

Very disappointing.
900 poor sods have travelled down to see this.

This isn't the first time you've seen a team play weirdly on a funny week night after a long trip, but the reality is it's also not the first time we've seen a team do this to us.

We’ve seen the standard tonight. We have to significantly improve and for me it puts a different perspective on January. Our weaknesses are too apparent and if we are serious about this we need to do our best to improve in that window.

Portsmouth without their two best players too and look all over the pitch superior.

Question of who needs upgrading is Morley. Nit vases on tonight, but every game I can remember watching he's been poor

It’s hardly a JDB issue. Charles has been woeful. Santos embarrassing. Sheehan hid. Williams awful. Cogley offered nothing. Toal been utterly useless.

I can go on. But the issue is all over they’ve wanted it more. And we’ve not put the work in. But aside from that we’ve played out from the back and it’s not worked and we’ve continued playing out from the back and basically played into their hands.

Looks like he can’t be bothered to me. Not keen.

I think you could make a case for several signings on the strength of tonight to be honest. If we want to go up several of our players have been found wanting - really poor in effort as well as performance.

That, but also lots of half arsed passes and fouls. You can at least see what the others are trying to do, even if they cock it up.

It's going to take me a while to get over some of the displays there.

I've no issue with playing badly, especially away after a long trip on a Monday night. I can't accept Toal literally running away from the ball and hiding behind a Pompey player so Baxter can't pass to him.

Bod not moving as a ball bounces 8 yards from him can also feck off.

Loads of poor performances tonight, but, as always seems to be the case, they look a cut above us at Fratton Park.

Crap to watch when we give it away as much as we have. Wing-backs both had a total shocker. Toal totally found out. All of centre midfield have been terrible—including the subs—although Paris showed some flashes of genius.

Commentator said after the miss “Charles only needs that one opportunity.” I laughed. Can’t miss those against toppoes away from home.

Where's Ghosty? Told you we'd be 5 or 6 short, before long.

Beaten by a better performance on the night. Too many missing over the 90.

Very, very disappointing. And proves that nobody, nobody, should consider themselves irreplaceable in January.

If Dion scores that goal it's a different game. But he didn't and it's cost us. We looked good for the first 20 but after that, far far too many players disappointed.

I don't often say things like this, and it's half in jest, but Sharon should dock the cost of the flight down out of their wages.

Anyway. We've been very very good for two months. We're still 2nd, and not undeservedly. Pick ourselves up, beat Bristol on Saturday, we go again. Keep in front of the chasing pack and see what happens.
