Baxter, JDC, Toal, Santos, Forrester, Ashworth, Maghoma, Thomason, Sheehan, Charles, Adeboyejo

Pretty disappointed that Williams hasn't been passed fit, think he'll be a big miss for us on that side. I'd imagine Iredale being the first choice over Ashworth but given its a cup game maybe there's that element of rotation playing its part. Hopefully he can do a good job but i'd imagine this is going to be a tough test for him. Either way, Ashworth playing tonight provides clarity on whether we need to take action to improve those WB positions.

Having 9 players on the bench rather than the usual 7 is a good sign. I think this should be a more familiar thing where some U21's manage to make the bench more often, in todays case, Lewis and Andreucci.

Coleman, Iredale, Matheson, Morley, Dempsey, Lewis, Jerome, Andreucci, Bodvarsson.

It's a strong lineup. We're clearly going out there to give our best.

As for Luton, looks like they're going out to do the same...
Krul, Burke (ex BWFC), Osho, Menghi, Doughty, Barkley, Ruddock, Clark, Chong, Ogbene, Morris

Quite similar to when we last played them, with the exceptions of Ogbene in for Adebayo and Burke in for Bell, who drops to the bench. Mads Andersen of our Barnsley pain misses out.

A freezin, snow bound night with a raging fire in the hearth, might have to resort to a transistor radio...
I'm considering paying to listen to Derek, but I don't think you can get a match pass - you have to pay £5 for a monthly Wanderers TV pass...
I can stick the Radio on in the couch room if you would like to listen?
Wireless/sofa interface sounds splendid! Get Mrs Tibbs to wheel the tea-trolley in and we'll be cock-on.

You can name 9 subs in the FA Cup, only 7 in the league. With Williams/Dan/(Johnston) injured and CMG/Geth in Qatar, there's literally nobody else available in the senior squad. These are the margins.

Big night for Zac Ashworth. Luton, like a lot of recent opponents, focused to a considerable degree on attacking the left side of our defence, notably the gap between the WB & Toal. We'll see (or rather hear) how that goes tonight with Zac. He'll need to be switched on to his team duties.

Sonic's already declared his unavailability due to being "out". If we don't try Mrs Tibbs in this sort of circumstance we'll never know.

It's hard to get the tea-making spot - you have to.... urn it.

I was aiming to say it's nice to see. Seven is more than enough subs, but if there's allocated for 2 positions from the U21 side, or U18 side then it'd be a nice thing to see for progression plans for youth team players. We'll not be likely to see many youngsters making the bench this season if we had Geth and CMG available.

I'd much prefer us have the extra option for 2 youngsters on the bench and have the possibility of the likes of Khumbeni, Andreucci, Lewis, etc. all being given the possibility of making an appearance. If we're a few goals up, those are the moments where youth should get a chance.

Ah, fair enough. Although I imagine teams would cheat to find a way round it. "Yeah, Maupay's in our B team" etc

I'm waiting on the feed starting. As per usual Mrs Tibbs is on the tea and has forgotten to flick the switch.
