Sounds like a proper cup tie to be fair. Shame none of the tv companies have picked it up but it’s a great advert for getting your arse there!

Nice one as always DJBlu. Lovely run by Vic and tidy finish by Dion.
Glad to see us giving them a good game.

I was aiming to say it's nice to see. Seven is more than enough subs, but if there's allocated for 2 positions from the U21 side, or U18 side then it'd be a nice thing to see for progression plans for youth team players. We'll not be likely to see many youngsters making the bench this season if we had Geth and CMG available.

I'd much prefer us have the extra option for 2 youngsters on the bench and have the possibility of the likes of Khumbeni, Andreucci, Lewis, etc. all being given the possibility of making an appearance. If we're a few goals up, those are the moments where youth should get a chance.
Ah, fair enough. Although I imagine teams would cheat to find a way round it. "Yeah, Maupay's in our B team" etc
Ha, if the pre-season Maupay that we faced is anything to go by it'd probably be beneficial for the opposition.

They'll beat us in midfield. Get the big lads forward and pepper their box...

Feels like a war of attrition here. Battle hard and keep ourselves in it and try and snatch a goal on the break.

The goal we conceded seemed a sloppy one to concede but it sounds like they've had better opportunities than that one.

It's a Premiership team, we've been against them for 130+ minutes and we're still level. It's a tough ol' game, but we're still in it.

Doncaster equalise against Wigan in the EFL Trophy. Be nice if they exited the competition.

HT 1-1.

Referee has got the premier league memo in his pocket to give us nothing.

I actually think Derek Clark is better than Dearden. Jacko seems very confused a lot of the time, and thus it's not always that easy to follow as a listener.

Good performance. The goal we conceded though is full of naivety. It’s the worry for how we want to play vs how we will need to play in the league up.

The play tonight is into the front two down the channels. We are getting nowt in midfield. And when we try and play into the middle of the park we look more like conceding than anything else.

Front two done well. Adeboyejo on fire - shame that his touch let him down on some crucial occasions though.

Maghoma - not feeling it, at al though. Feels like he could up his game.

It is difficult but he doesn't talk about the weather. I find that Derek commentates like we're all watching with him whereas I can understand where the play is with Jack.
