Down to the O-zone. Away to Fleetwood Friday Dec 297h 7-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Also good if it stays that way.

Fleetwood coming out more than I expected. Trying to make it a physical battle. We look a threat from set pieces - think there was a decent chance for Santos in there with his foot….

Curious start at Posh-Barnsley.

We seem weak down our left flank to me.

Match hasn't really got going.

Wind doing us no favours at the moment, few balls hit and carried a little bit in the wind.

Would be nice to get a few long shots off here, see how much the wind helps the goalies confusion.

Aye. Sometimes it's harder to play with the wind at your back, weirdly.

Don’t think we are moving it quick enough. Also too many fluffed lines in final third as Thomason just demonstrates.

Definitely looks like the best results we can get from the chasing pack. Gives us that game in hand to get further ahead.
On the flip side, there's less of a margin of error for anyone now everyones bunched. Two consecutive defeats and possibly out the playoffs!

I’m not usually an advocate of taking shots from outside the box, but with the wind behind us this half we should surely be taking some pot shots. You can bet your bottom dollar Fleetwood will be in the second.

That could be for a number of reasons. Standards dropping, opposition getting to know how we play with JDC/Williams. Start of the season Williams had stood out as making that role his own. Hard to keep that up, especially given how poor our previous incumbents have performed in that role.

We've had the same drop off on JDC's side as well. Might be over utilisation of players in those roles, or them getting comfortable. It's hardly like they need to be chomping at the bit at the moment.

Pretty confident both wings have more to offer than is currently on show.

Absolutely lovely move that. Charles really poor - should not be offside there.

Yup - right now we're nearer Derby in 7th than Pompey in 1st

Fine margins there. 90% of what he did was the right thing.

There is no need to be ahead of the ball. And in doing so you will almost always be offside in those situations.

Thierry Henry would disagree...

How we doing?
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

It might be a difficult night for trying the long diagonals.
