Yeah that bloke’s slurred chanting isn’t enhancing my experience on the couch this evening.

We’ve had plenty of chances. Frustrating.

I do wonder whether this current rendition of Jerome is the best we'll see in a Bolton shirt. He's been looking useful, without actually looking a goal threat.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 7:31 pmThe front two are playing well, I just don’t see a goal between them…that’s the problem. Outside the box both doing a good job. But neither look threatening at all.
As for the slurred chanting, he keeps saying Blackpool's a s*hole and he wants to go home. I'm happy for the club to contribute towards his taxi fare to send him home.
2nd match in succession, Jerome's flagged himself offside.

Meanwhile, Peterborough score twice in the opening 5 mins vs Wimbledon.

Feels like this ref is itching to give any decision against us…

For those unaware, Portsmouth kick off a catch up game vs Oxford, which will take them 3 games ahead of us.

Ogbeta needs to start putting those balls into the area or committing his man.

Playing well - there’s a bit of rustiness and unfamiliarity which is to be expected. Mendes Homes looks most likely to me - yeah he’s unpredictable but that’s his game isn’t it? I’m not sure I see a goal in Jerome or Bodvarson. Subs will make a difference I imagine…

Decent enough performance given all the changes, although I'm not overly confident we'll score with this lineup. Anyway, if we can get to 70 odd minutes at 0-0 then we can bring some of our big hitters off the bench and hopefully put the game to bed.

Santos off, JDC on.
I reckon that was pre-planned.

Santos pulled out of warm up pre match so I’m guessing there is a problem.

I'd suspect as much. Had our new man had a terrible first half maybe that sub would've been different.

Hmmm yeah- he looked OK? But I thought he was carrying an injury last couple of weeks anyway. Hopefully ok for Saturday… gulp

Injured is what I think. And Barnsley will be a test with such a fragile and small back three. Ultimately I think it is clear we need a centre half signing and luckily there is still time.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:09 pmHmmm yeah- he looked OK?
