The problem second half is very simple. Without santos we’ve had to drop deeper as we can’t reliably win headers or challenges higher up the pitch. As we’ve dropped deeper it’s left our midfield running huge spaces. We can’t hold it up top either but main issue is how deep we’ve had to go to accommodate a small back three that can’t dominate their opponents higher up the pitch.
So you’re saying we’re a lot worse without Santos?

Bollocks. Unlucky Charles. That’s the chance gone.

One last boil of the kettle it is then.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Dare I say that Charles should’ve done better there?

What is up with Morley?

So far behind the game.

Charles straight at the keeper. Ffs.

If we don’t have actual centre halves then yes. A back three of Jones, Toal and Johnston…probably be ok with that. Less so with this one.

Fair.
We’ve missed Sheehan too. Morley just not at the same level. (But who is, in this division?)

So poor from Morley today. So many over hit balls. Feels like the occasion is getting to him.

So frustrating from the referee. Only free kick we got in that second half seemed to be the one he dismissed and let us play advantage.

Agreed. Morley let’s be really honest has some significant issues with his game. Does he look interested? Is it confidence? Has his lack of mobility just simply caught up with the level he’s at?

Oh well. Our first half, their second. Probably a fair result. Penalties it is. Morley and Charles are definites. Bod as well you would guess. Dempsey, Gomes?

Morley's not even at Morley's level tonight. Feels like he's just overawed or over run. Even when he's had time on the ball, he's overhit it.

Come on Coleman!

Should have kept Jerome on. Summed up Charles's last few games, that
