Agreed. Could well be that we’ve left the Ennis decision to see how the squad looks next week - but I hope it doesn’t come to that. If we need two, I would like to sign two. Others aren’t sitting still.

I'd be surprised if it's off. I'm expecting to play tomorrow and that will be a much worse pitch (though I may be moving slightly more slowly...).
It's been cold here, but sunny. Never been to BR but I doubt the stands are big enough to stop the pitch getting sun on which case it'll be fine. I'm in E20 right now and it's a balmy 5°!

There's a first time for everything. We are in third place in our league with two games in hand. We didn't get there by losing and we ain't going to start now. Leyton Orient are way below us so let's remember who are.

Leyton Orient are 22nd in the league for home form. 15 points from a possible 36, I think it is.
We certainly could lose tomorrow, but absolutely no reason for us to fear them.
Respect what they can do. Stick to the plan the manager has laid out for beating them. Show up.
Do that and we should win.

For those going: the Leyton Technical is a decent boozer. Used to live there and, by god, it was the most infinitesimal of ephemeral silver linings. Alternatively: Leytonstone, one stop further on, has many good pubs.

Does that translate as Jellied Eels and pie and mash are served on silver platters?BorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 9:23 amFor those going: the Leyton Technical is a decent boozer. Re London Ale: Possibly the worst pint of beer I've ever had in my life was Courages Ale in a boozer in Windsor .

I posted earlier in the thread as i am a former Leyton resident as well viewtopic.php?p=1169664#p1169664 but unfortunately it seems that the Technical is now no longer with us.BorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 9:23 amFor those going: the Leyton Technical is a decent boozer. Plenty of options in leytonstone or North if you go to the Stow.

Mixed reports. They're bad at home, we're historically bad at their place (W2D6L10).
Could go either way.
Key thing is not letting them score first from the looks of it.

Ah, apologies. That is a shame. They once provided me and three friends a few rounds of drinks for dressing as Harry Enfield scousers and starting on everybody at the bar (before calming down calming down). Always liked it after that.KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 12:16 pmI posted earlier in the thread as i am a former Leyton resident as well viewtopic.php?p=1169664#p1169664 but unfortunately it seems that the Technical is now no longer with us.BorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 9:23 amFor those going: the Leyton Technical is a decent boozer. Nothing to apologise for! Just wanted to let people know the technical is out of action.BorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 12:51 pmAh, apologies. That is a shame. Not the best opening 10. Scrappy is probably the word for it. We're battling ever so well, but both sides looking sloppy when in possession.

Some fixtures postponed today, so at least we're catching up on a few.

Fkin ridiculous that Josh Sheehan booking. He's passing it to a team mate.
Clear yellow card should've been shown to Vic for pulling the player back.

Something of an inauspicious start.
