A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

Well, a point gained but two points dropped. Schrodinger's result.

Fantastic point, considering. Thanks for the seat on the couch, Blu.

Just got in. Kettle's on for what it's worth
You are pushing us you know that...

If I buy you a smart kettle can you just leave it plugged in and I'll boil it when you're not here?
Just don't get the appkettle - currently wasting away in my garage because it insists its empty when it's full and wont boil the water :whack:

Gained. We were absolutely appalling and down to ten men. And didn’t lose. And other results generally have gone our way bar Pompey.

However I think we are running out of chances.

And next up is Wycombe - not like they are much good against the top sides….oh….

But yeah point gained but we have to improve very very quickly.

FT. Northampton still at it trying to get players sent off. Just go down the tunnel you petulent c*nts.
Not good enough Bolton. Not good enough at all. Thankfully we had someone who came on to get us a point.
Evatt has to sort this as this team owes the fans some performances. We've been lack luster for weeks now. CMG, Thank you.

I’m going to be bold and suggest we need to go to a back four for a while. I don’t think the system is working with the available players.

We ain’t getting anything out of this. Another Evatt mini slump. Tuesday will be critical now. Running out of any slack.

....apart from a credible draw given the circumstances!!

Great battling performance 2nd half and unlucky not to nick it I thought. Not blaming him, but referee one of the worst I've seen in a long time. Might have been a different outcome with 11 v 11

Ramsey is a million miles off a league one wing back. Might be a right back. But asking way too much of him. Ashworth looks more like a very good LB to me. Taylor, Toal and Jones were shocking as a back three. Let’s be honest we play a back three because Santos isn’t any good in a back four. But without him…..Jones, Toal, Taylor Ashworth is a good back four.

I don’t think there is any reason to carry on with three at the back at least for the next few.

Pleased enough with a point, but we would’ve won with 11 men. Thomason really needs to cut that out of his game, he’s not a kid and his stupidity keeps costing us.

Don't know what conclude really....its a point more than I thought we would get at half 3. And it's probably a point more than we deserved...but its two lost - our fixtures are tougher and we keep dropping these points where teams that go up should be winning.

Thomason has picked up a month's wages on his nice new contract for a trophy game (where he made the same daft tackle) and a disaster today where he cost us a chance at winning. Hopefully we fine for Ill discipline.

FT Wycombe 5-2 Posh. Which means we have a new next-door neighbour...

I think I agree - Taylor and Toal are a decent centre half pair. Evatt needs to be less stubborn. And Carlos worth a go for me - not necessarily on today's performance but he offers a different option, some unpredictability.

I'd have snapped your hand off for that at half time. Good character, but we can't keep making it uphill for ourselves.

Ref was diabolical, but probably better than us.

It's an interesting thought. Not least as I thought the worst part of that back thre was that Toal and Taylor played like total strangers.

We should also note that Geth - who had a weird game all round - was playing a strange hybrid role, half RCB and half RWB with Mendes Gomes ahead of him as more of a winger than a wingback. That's fine, summat's gotta happen when your hothead mate's left you a man down with an hour to play.

One problem with a back four is that it tends to lead to one up top. Who's that, then?

Anyone see Caleb go over to one of our fans at the end? If so anyone know why?

Who would start up top? On todays showing I’m hoping the Turkish transfer window is still open….

That was a definite get out of jail moment. But it really is a case of we royally screwed it up.

If we appeal that red I think I'll be outraged. He was off the floor with his foot towards McGowan's ankle, who left the field of play 8 minutes after indicating that there must've been some contact. His petulance that followed made Evatt believe he hadn't caught him. Evatt however needs to take a chill pill. Seeing one of your young ones get sent off and then continue it with the referee who if you think is being harsh isn't going to get you anywhere.

Heat of the moment stuff maybe but it was at half time, 18+6 injury time minutes after the fact. That's unacceptable.
