It's not. And it's definitely not a red. We'll win that appeal. Again.

Bent bastard. There's only so much you can do when the ref won't let you win
Nah mate BWFCi's decided it's a red

Fact that fits his usual script is merely a co-inkidink

He’s dived in through the back of the player. It’s stupid at the very least. Unprofessional.
What else was he meant to do? Coleman’s given him no option.

Shit me, that's a terrible decision.
.

Looks like a foul to me. Left leg possibly winning the ball first, but he's clipped the players legs.

What frustrates me is that even if it was a penalty, its a triple punishment sending the player off. Penalty against, missing the rest of this match and the next match at a minimum.

Did anyone figure out whether they should've been sent off for that or if the rule had actually changed.
They definitely changed it. The bent bastard has fecked. Whether due to being bent, or a bastard isn't clear.

The officiating of the last few seasons has slowly eroded my love of the game. Ain’t much left.

Not lunge in? React quicker?

It’s not santos’ fault he’s exposed there but that challenge with this ref was basically asking for it.

Indeed! You’d be fuming if he left him with a tap in at 2-1! Coleman unfortunately has cost us there…and this wanker ref. But it’s not the reason for the defeat…

React quicker? Please watch that clip back and tell me how he could have possibly done anything quicker? He never stops moving.

Yep. How to kill off a game / promotion challenge BWFC styleee. It’s not over yet but it’s slipping away.

TBF, whilst we were lauding the "pre-HT" performance up front. They've had 7 shots on target, to our 3 - which doesn't seem to have moved in a good while. :|

Needs a get a grip session, before Tuesday...

BTW Barnsley winning not necessarily a good thing - quite a realistic bet to finish above us!
Only 3pts and a goal behind us now from same games. But we have to hope Derby balls up when we do.

Feels like Wigan at home this one, players feeling sorry for themselves and our ability to challenge for the top two looking a pipe dream.

Least Derby is losing to Barnsley.

And maybe a few notes that conceding 4 to near neighbours isn't actually compulsory...need to pick themselves up, sharpish

It’s my opinion that Tuesday night is now the biggest game of Evatts tenure so far. Fail to win and this is not just slipping away it’s being thrown away.

Football basics haven’t been right imo since Christmas. If you aren’t prepared to out tackle, head, fight and run the opposition week in week out in a run in you will not get very far. It’s the absolute minimum and if these players would do that we’d win these games.

But as we’ve seen all too often with Evatt and we are again his sides are weak mentally and physically when it really matters.

Tuesday is absolutely massive. The pressure is insane.

And we will again be without Santos or any physical presence at the back.

System needs changing too as this isn’t working. Back four. Get tighter. Win the physical battle and play from there. Can’t just keep rolling out this side and style that is coming up woefully short.

Given we’ll play and probably lose there…
